In Vancouver, Canada we've started to see some Pinkberry/Red Mango style froyo places opening up. We have Qoola, Tutti Melon and Scoop. Scoop is run locally and they make there own mochi, cool.

I love green tea, lychee and mango flavours with fruit and mochi toppings.

I have to drive all the way to Seattle to get my Red Mango fix.

Actually, frozen yogurt was "in" during the 70s, it's just recently everybody is worrying about being healthy, so frozen yogurt is coming back .

I'm not a huge froyo hater, but I feel that the whole froyo hype has been overdone and overrated to the point that there are froyo places EVERYWHERE (at least where I live, where it's packed with Asians).

I just feel after one or two times of froyo, it becomes nothing special. Boo hoo - fresh fruit and toppings on yogurt that is frozen. I could honestly make that all at home at a fraction of the cost (froyo ain't cheap in my opinion, either).

i absolutely adoree red mango. Also, on south street in philly, theres phileo's (yummmm) and they have a humongous array of flavors! my favorites are green tea, taro and chocolate...hehe sweet tooth. there's also a tutti frutti, and some other places but i don't like them as much.

there are tons of froyo places in nyc, i can't name them all off the top of my head, but obviously pinkberry, red mango, yoberry, etc. i'm a loyal red mango fan (i have a club card, lol), for some reason i just like it better than pinkberry. i just had it like an hr ago too and i'm convinced that the best combo is tangomonium + strawberry + dark chocolate. SO GOOD it tastes like heaven biggrin.gif

I think frozen yogurt is like a craze right now. They pop up everywhere.
In the Austin, Texas area we have....

Swirl
Tomunchi
Yogurt Spot

Those three are the ones I know of and like. There are a lot more in the area but those are my top places :]

Dang, people. You make me want to go to all these places. The only frozen yogurt I've ever eaten were the ones from Ikea and some wholesale place that's greasy (plus, they don't call their frozen yogurt 'frozen yogurt' anymore). I'm always scared to go to Yogen Fruz... the black and rainbow and the employees just sitting there creeps the heck out of me for some reason.

I love love love Yogurtland! They have a variety of flavors and toppings. Although I usually just get plain tart instead of the flavored ones.

OMG i LOVE LOVE LOVE YOGEN FRUZ!!!!!
they have a bunch of flavors because you can create whatever flavor you want. you choose 2 fruits and they mix it in their machine w/the yogurt and it comes out to whatever flavor fruit you chose.
they also have plain tart, chocolate, green tea, and then of course whatever fruit flavor yogurt you want.
its creamy and smooth. try it! its my favorite!!
