Ok so ill start

im with verizon, i pay about 60 bucks a month for 700 minutes peak allowance minutes, unlimited nights and weekends, NO text messaging (sucks!) and i have a rather infelicitous Razr phone. Happiness factor: -10

i CANNOT wait to get out of my contract im thinking of just paying the termination fee i really want an Iphone.... and that means i hav to switch to AT&T...but then again im not so sure at&t is a good provider?

can u guys provide some info about ur own cellphone provider, etc.? thanks

I have that plan but with 5 lines, pay $89 a month with no text messaging. Also using a razor. It sucks.. But verizon has unlimited texting for $20 bucks and at&t has it for $30 bucks.

tmobile 50 for 1000 minutes, unlimited nights and weekends. Added the unlimited text for 15 but with taxes 70 bucks and some cents. I'm okay with it, I suppose.

I think we have this:
One family, 4 lines under Verizon. It costs about 180-200 dollars a month because my sister never uses her phone except to call family and others under certain circumstances. My dad and mom call each other and use the phone like regular, but we also have a home phone we use for overseas calls. I use the phone the most, though I don't like using it much. My dad made me take the 10 dollar text plan (unlimited text, pix, and video text except for 250 limit on non-verizon) but I really only need the 5 dollar one (250 texts to anyone). I make calls to friends when I want to talk but we all mostly talk online. I used to call this guy and speak with him for at least an hour a day, usually 3-8 hours a day!!

So we don't go over our free minutes (I think 500? No clue!) and it's free to call other verizon users. In my town virtually everyone uses verizon. Good reception, texting verizon users doesn't toll up the text limit (as they have a limit for non-verizon by itself), and free calls!

Oh, and I have the old LG Chocolate in red. It sucks for texting in a way b/c when you want to text letters on the same key you have to wait a while. I use the Word feature to text faster. My Chocolate also freezes on me, and to top it all off it's a rip-off of the Korean Chocolate! I think LG made them in Korea too, but the USA versions are different, and my music freezes all of the time.

So my grudge against verizon is that my phone has a 1 year warranty but it always gets technical issues. I'd have to pay for a replacement during the second year until my contract is done. I could always buy cheap batteries online or fish out for a used Chocolate.

Even worse, Verizon has virtually no support for import phones! I've always wanted one, but many imports use Sim cards (GSM carriers like Cingular or T-mobile have it but are on ROAMING in my town, ridiculous!) or have W-CDMA (Japanese phones do). Verizon phones use CDMA, MUST be on the e911 feature, and must emit certain frequencies (850 and 1900 mHz).

My mom pays $150 for a family plan(850 anytime min, unlimited n&w, unlimited m2m, rollover) that has 5 lines. It includes unlimited text and instant messaging for everyone and the iPhone data plan for my brother.. so basically $59.99 + $40(4 other lines) + $30(unlimited text/im) + $20(iPhone data plan).. Happiness factor- indifferent xD.. my mom's paying for it so yeah hahaha and we have a LOT of rollover minutes lol.. like 2,100+ xD

oh I'm with AT&T btw biggrin.gif

I was in Verizon Wireless and was okay with it but I hated their phones. The only reason why I stayed with them for two years was because the reception was good and practically everyone I knew had Verizon Wireless so I never went over on my minutes. I ended up switching to AT&T and getting the new iPhone recently and I love it. The only thing that is sort of a downer is that my phone bill is a lot higher now (because you have to get the data plan with iPhones but it's unlimited internet, so it's not that bad), and the reception is not as good as Verizon but it's not bad either (I'm in San Diego). Happiness factor would be around 8 for me. I am paying around $65/mo (without other fees included) for 400 minutes, unlimited data, and 250 text messages.

in the US, i have sprint and the bill is about $50 a month.
unlimited nights and weekends.
dunno about the other stuff, but it's a pretty basic plan.
since i'm not in the country, i don't text (my mom does sometimes on it), internet is expensive so i don't use that either.

in japan i use AU, and the bill is about $53 a month.
i have 30min a month of talk time, which i almost never use up so that money for talk time rolls over to the next month.
i'm pretty happy for the most part.
i want to put songs on the phone, but i can't unless i download them, and that'll use up all my internet allowance...
i write an important thing, and do not let's finish. a way of writing for freedom.

I have AT&T - FamilyTalk Nation 700 Rollover & Unlimited Night/Weekend & Unlimited Mobile-To-Mobile Minutes
I used to have 4 lines for about $104 each month and now we added another line, but I don't know how much it is. I think it's +$10.
I'm pretty satisfied with it I guess. I only like AT&T because they have a bigger phone selection.
