Pretty happy since people rarely call me and convo don't last long.
After hearing that iphone's plan cost $50/month... i am very (truly) happy knowing that i don't have to pay that much per month

Pay about 67$/ month
Plan includes:
200 anytime minutes
Unlimited evening (starting at 6pm ) and weekends
Unlimited texting
Unlimited MMS
Caller ID
Voicemail
500 Mbs of data
happiness? I'd sayy, 8/10... Wish I had rogers to rogers or unlimited incoming. It's ok, I mostly text anyways about 4000 msgs a month =P
It's called a retention plan... When your contract is about to expire rogers will give you a call to renew a 3 year contract with them. They usually try to get you to stay by offering you UNBELIEVABLE plans for a LOW price point. A friend of mine is paying $27 including SAF and taxes for:
250 Anytime Minutes
Unlimited Evenings and Weekends (evening start at 6pm)
2500 Text messages
Unlimited incoming
Unlimited Rogers to Rogers
Caller ID
Voicemail
Of course she negotiated w/ retentions.

T-Mobile doesn't seem to have a retention plan because when I called to inquire about my contract (it's up in a week) they didn't seem to make any attempt to offer me a better rate plan.
p.s. I feel so stupid because just as my contract w/ T-Mobile is almost up, I was told that they had a student discount plan which means these few YEARS I was with them I could've gotten at least 15% off my monthly bill. Not that they are expensive but for the mediocre connection, I could've saved some money. So all of you T-Mobile users who didn't know about this like me, and have a university or employee email address, call your rep pronto and see if you qualify!

For that situation they actually will vary from account to account. I remember when I called in asking when my contract expires because I was curious and had forgotten even being on a contract and the guy was just like "oh are you thinking of going to a different carrier or something" and then just started to add free stuff to my account. I guess it just depends on how long you were with the carrier. For me I've been on T-Mobile since VoiceStream. So I've been on VoiceStream/T-Mobile for 10 years now. So the older the account is if you ask them anything about leaving the carrier they pretty much give you everything you want LOL, but I'm not that greedy yet.
T-Mobile US
1050 min
1000 SMS
Unlimited DATA (even though I already graduated but just never told them about it and they don't care either).
^^^^ @ $50/month after 12% Corporate Discount
I'm actually quite peachy with my carrier as there isn't much problems with it and the TMO SIMs wrote quote well with my Docomo mobiles.

I'm on Verizon's corporate plan. $27/month and that's with tax.
No contract plan. I got a free HTC Droid Eris, 1500 anytime minutes, unlimited weekends and nights. Unlimited texting. Unlimited web/data.
Cellphone service companies make so much money, it's ridiculous.
