Kawaii how is it pronounced? :D

I was just wonder how is "kawaii" pronounced?

Is it just hawaii but with a "k?"

It's a Japanese word, you say it like "kah wah eeee". The "wah" part is usually stressed.

haha the only japanese words i know are
kawai and sugoi. i later found out what it means

it pretty much sounds like hawaii...only you replace the "h"
sound with a "k"
just make sure your clearly saying "KAH" and not "KOH"
because kowaii means "scary" LOL

basically in my japanese class, all we did for a day was talk about
kawaii and kowaii. hahaha

Isn't the japanese 'w' in between the english 'v' and 'w'? So it would be like kah-VIE-ee..

Kawaii and Hawaii have different intonations.

ka - lower
wa, ii - higher

whereas..
ha - lower
wa - higher
ii - lowest

So if you want to be completely accurate with the authentic pronunciation, don't say it Hawaii with a K

everyone called him 'kah-why-ee' but his name is just pronounced

but i never sound like a japanese saying that.

Correction: The 'ka' part is stressed, but not by a lot. You aren't saying 'hawaii'.
Also note: the stress on 'ka' isn't that great... keep it toned down. Saying 'OMG THAT'S SO KAWAII' is not cool. Just say 'cute'.

Well I learnt it as 'Kah-Wai-I', in my japanese class anywho.
And yeah, as said above, please refrain from using japanese phrases when you can just say 'cute'.
It's irritating.
