I prefer to use straws, but i could live without them if they were mysteriously wiped off the earth one day. I don't particularly use straws unless I'm drinking like a milkshake or slushy...bubble tea...etc. I mean, if you think about it...most of the time, at the end when your drink is almost done, you end up drinking from the cup cause nothing can get through the straw anymore. For me at least.

I can't live without them, and my dad almost didn't because of them. One time when i was about 6 me and my dad were joking around with some straws and we rolled up this cotton ball and started blowing it back and forth with a straw, after a few blows, my dad took a deep breath in, but he didn't realize the cotton ball was underneath him and it got sucked up (like an alien abduction beam) into the back of his throat, being cotton and all it absorbed all the mositure in his throat and lodged itself in his windpipe, i don't think i've ever laughed so hard in my life, my dad was truly choking to death, turned blue and everything. My mom went apemini cooper and started smacking him on the back, this only made me laugh harder, in the end though he managed to cough it up.

Reflecting now though, my dad nearly died and all i could do is laugh and i don't think i would have been able to stop if he did. Is that a bad thing?

Oh yeah, straws rock. I like those curly ones where you can watch the mini cooper you're drinking before it gets in your mouth.
