Well good for you. It's better to realize it now than to regret it later when you're swimming in loans for med school.

you know there would be alot more scientists, and good ones at that, if half the mundane, outright arcane things that are required in science/bio classes that will never ever be used IRL cases were axed...

Good for you. I've heard too many stories of people in science barely trying to get by, hoping to get into med school even though their grades are horrible, and eventually ending up cleaning test tubes in their first job or working as a tutor.
