im curious to know who out there still loves her music?
well , in about 30 minutes from my time its her 7th year since she's been gone.
yep, the girl who was in Romeo Must Die & Queen of the Damned.
oh & btw, they're filming a movie based on her right now.
& is set to be released in 2009, Keshia Chante's filling for the role.
wow.. i still miss her :[

I loved her "Try Again" song.
She was such a great artist and I hope she's remembered for a long time.

I'm so ashamed... Sort of. I remember my uncle (wow, of all people!) telling me that Aaliyah died in a plane crash. I didn't know who she was at that time until I heard her song "Try Again" and "Miss You". I don't think anyone's gonna ever forget her <3

awww i still love her! she was my role model growing up. i cried like crazy when she died... well, when it actually sunk in that she was no longer with us. (it took about a good day or 2).

I didnt know they were making a movie about her though... Keshia Chante does favor her somewhat... but anyway, Aaliyah was about to be such a huge star. she was beautiful inside and out.. and she was one of the very few celebs that didn't have negativity tied to her name. it was such a sad loss... she was truly a blessing to everyone.

I adored her so much as a child, and I still do.
She's such a beautiful person and I remember bawling my eyes out when she died and when I watched the I Miss You music video.
I can't believe she's been dead for so long =(
She was too talented and too young to die.

I LOVE Aaliyah! I was so sad when I heard the news about her death that I didn't even want to believe it.

I cried a lot when I found out.

I absolutely love her music and she was a great artist.

she really was a wonderful person. her music was beautiful&of course she had amazing talent. it sucks how the good always die/get mini cooperted on. i miss her.

I absolutely LOVE Aaliyah. She was definitely my role model growing up, I even started parting my hair like her when I was little! She was so talented and just someone so filled with life and it's such a shame that she isn't still making music. She would've been bigger than she already was if she was still living today. I loved "4-page letter", "Come Over", "Are You That Somebody" and of course my ALL time favorite- "One I Gave My Heart To". She'll always be missed and never forgotten. RIP Baby Girl <3

left us.. It was such a shock, I miss her and her music.

I love Aaliyah. I used to dance to "Back and Forth" constantly as a kid. I can't believe its been so long already.

I'm kinda "ehh" about the whole movie thing- but I feel that way about pretty much all bio-pics.
