I've been severely shocked 2x.

The more severe one was changing a ceiling lightbulb while standing on my metal frame bed and mattress. Somehow my thinb slipped inside the socket and the switch was on. It was weird, for about 5-10 seconds my whole world turned blank and white, as if a TV remote control switch had changed to a blank channel. There was a strange sensation of heat running from my thumb down to my knee (or thereabouts).. Weirdest of all, my heart rate sped up like crazy faster and faster until I thought my chest would explode. Suddenly I was thrown down to the bed in a daze...

They say any electrical shock should be followed by a visit to a hospitcal because of hidden internal injuries.

But for me, it was too late. I think I actually died. And came back to life unexpectedly.

How about you?
What was the worst electrical shock you have ever been through?

I was young at the time and I remember my internet plug wasn't working (it's one of the wires that plugs into the wire but it's round) so I took it out and started blowing on it, like how you would to a nintendo video game, the plug got so close to my tongue and i got shocked in my tongue. wacko.gif
I'm not a princess, this ain't a fairy tale, I'm not the one you sweep off her feet, lead her up the stairwell, this ain't Hollywood, this is a small town, I was a dreamer before you went and let me down.

i was at work
and i was pulling out a plug for something
and i guess my thumb slipped into the outlet?
and then it literally felt like a zap through my thumb straight to my heart
and my heartbeat was irregular for about thirty minutes after that
and i felt really weak & dizzy
..that's about it

This is probably the only thing I've ever remembered about being four years-old.
My grandma was outside getting the mail when we used to live in an apartment and she told me to stay where I was and not to move.
However, she left the house keys at home and there was a socket next to the wall and I guess since I always saw my grandma sticking keys into keyholes and turning it, that I'd try it to. So I did.. to an electrical socket. My grandma walked in and found me all fried up and blue and freaked the hell out but I don't think I felt anything...o.o

Never been shocked until this year.
It wasn't serious or anything, but it was when I was plugging in the charger for this laptop O.o
It was all...tingly.

I was doing a science project of making a whole entire sound system work... one of the wires didn't get plugged right and I was shocked... Not too bad though. Just dizzy mainly. We didn't put power all the way luckily. Sort of zingy...

One of the wires for the washing machine was in the tub, so when I took a shower, the thing where you turn to control the temperature of the water shocked me. Felt so weird, like numbness down one entire arm.

A few of my friends had been throwing water on one of those automatic hand dryers in the bathroom at school and touching it, it made their hands all purple and cool looking. So being the good friends they are they came to get me and tell me about the awesomness they had discovered, needless to say the moment i touched it i got a pretty bad shock and was thrown to the floor. I was about 6 years old.

Worst was probably every time I kissed this one girl after we started dating for a bit. We would shock each other.. I started to poke her and jump back in reflex. unsure.gif Good thing though because I'll always remember her for it!

When I was on a aeroplane I adjusted my blanket and I could feel myself get shocked all over my legs. I could even see white flashes.
Does that count? I wasn't harmed in anyway but it hurt. tears.gif

I remember when I was young, my hands were wet and for some really dumb reason, I stuck my finger into the light switch that was broken by accident. (The switch thing was taken out so the wires and junk were visible.) I was dumb enough to shove my finger in there again because I thought it felt cool. -____-"

I used to work in construction and had to deal with outlet plugs and such all the time. Most of the time if they were live, they just felt like a sharp vibration - kind of like touching the rim of a really strong fan. One time I held on a little longer than I expected, and I still felt the strong vibration, but for like a half second I was completely immobilized, and before I knew it I was on the floor. Strange feeling - one of a kind, I'd say.

Getting electrical shocks from doors is about as much as I get for electrical shock. But nothing much worse.

stuck a key in an electric outlet when i was 4.
Parents noticed something wrong when the house blinked and my mom had to grab a belt to yank me indirectly away because i couldn't let go.
i can still remember how it felt like and i pretty much came out with a free firework perm and bruised thumbs and fingers... luckily the key was rubber coated a bit where i was holding it or else i would have died.

Uhm, I haven't really had one.
Other than in grade nine science where we all held hands and the one person touches that charged ball thing and the shock goes through our arms.

oh, how i miss freshmen year. hahahah.
Let the beat rock.
