I've been trying to open pictures on my computer but everytime I click on the folder, it says windows error
adn then everything freezes up >_<

I've also been trying to put pictures into my computer from my camera
but everytime I open the folder, once again the windows explorer error comes up and closes/freezes everything

it's not just pictures either, it's all the files like documents and stuff

from time to time, I also get something about a debugger not working?

I thought maybe I had a virus so I checked the other topics and dled avg
I guess I don't have a virus?

can someone tell me what's wrong with my computer? and how can I fix it?

I thought maybe it was my camera but it worked fine on my freinds computer so I have no clue.

thankss!

You can try safe mode... might be a virus, spyware, or just corrupted windows.

Personally I would just do a XP repair install.. takes like a hour but fixes pretty much everything and your files are still okay.

Its like a format, but instead of erasing everything... it reinstalls windows.
You will need a XP cd to do that.
