ANYWAY! So I don't know how to delete the audibles or put cover artwork on the songs, or make new playlists blah blah blah...
I really need some assistance so can someone give me a stupid people version of a walkthrough?
Or would it be not legal for me on this forum to ask someone to aim me and help?

-download software that tell you...
-plug USP wire in and then plug ZEN in.. when you finish charging or putting song in there.. ALWAY ALWAY DISCONNECT... dont pull the sucker out...

As for adding the album art, you will need to imbed it in the id3 tags. Use mp3tag software. You can download from this site: http://www.mp3tag.de/en/
After you install it, should be pretty self explanatory.
Good luck and don't get frustrated. I'm loving my Zen so far.

well, i remember reading somewhere about the creative zen, and it didn't mention anything about the earphone, so i got a little worried.
i just bought a creative zen 8gb yesterday. it seems tight, but damn! my computer ain't service pack 2!!!!! *ugh* it's an older version.
T__T i was stupid and just bought it without checking it out first.
anyways, i'm hoping to upgrade my computer so i can use the zen. if i can't, i gotta return it then and get a different music player. (i check all the creative zen 4gb, 2gb, and they all require the windows service pack 2. T___T)
this sucks a lot.
in case this doesn't work out, does anyone know what kind of music player works with an older version of microsoft??? (it's not service pack 2, that's for sure. =__=;;) Zune maybe? Samsung???

I did installed it correctly. It even said the installtion was successful....right before it, it said make sure to install your player to complete the install process, which i did, and it still doesn't work!
do you have to register it online?
urgh, i don't understand. it's so freaking hard to work with! this is why Apple is way better. It's way easier to use. all you have to do is get the Itunes, connect the damn Ipod, and it shows up on the Itunes. =__= i don't care if creative zen has more way stuff, it's starting to piss me off....ugh....
'make sure your player is connected, make sure your player is connected,' blah, blah, blah!!!!
i freaking have it connected to the damn computer right now and the stupid zen media player ain't working! it's saying that my zen isn't connected! gah! hello!!! the darn zen is even charging right now!!!!!!
WHY IS IT SO HARD!!!??
do i have to wait until it's fully charge or something to be able to access the damn zen media player?
gosh...
help me.
even my window media player version 10 doesn't see the device....
i look at my computers and don't even see my zen player there! aahh!

it charges when i plug it in yet it is not seen on my computer...
the darn zen media player don't detect that it's connect....
the dumb audible manager also doesn't detect it
and even the sync manager says theres no player connected...
damn, i getting really pissed. i think i should just return it. f*ck this man.

if you don't have that...cus you really don't need that stupid program anyway, unless you want to sync your songs...
but you can manually add your songs....
you go to your Control Panel
and somewhere about the Devices...
I'm not at home..so I don't know exactly where it's at..
but...You have to manually install the Zen...
it's not the USB cable...i'm pretty sure..
If i get home before you reply...i'll edit this...
I had to reformat my computer...
but it works now...
---edit---
you said the zen IS charging?
weird..does it have a removable disc?
i don't know..i might be wrong..

yes, it is charging, but it's not showing up in 'my computer' or anything.
when i bought the zen, it comes with everything like the zen player, the earphones, the usb cable, the quick guide, some advertisments, and the intallation CD for the zen media player and audible manager.
i have window media player 10......
soo, the problem is that it's not showing up in my computer. It IS charging but it's just not showing up in the computer. and the zen media player keep saying that the zen is not connected (even though it is) and sync manager AND the audible manager says that there is no connected devices. =___=;; this sucks.
what do you mean, removable disc???
do u mean the SD card thingy???

is this your first time connecting your zen to a computer? have you connected it to another computer before? have you ever had any problems where you connected things to your computer and let's say you connected a camera, and it went dead?
i think i remember having a problem like this. take it back and return it if you can. just tell them your computer won't recognize that one or something. just return it and get a new one and see if the problem still occurs.
i don't even think you really need to install those programs to get it to work. i never installed those programs on my dad's laptop and i was able to put in movies and stuff just fine. i think it's just a way for you to use their stuff like the media player type things they add in the install discs. useless. i never used em.

i have the creative zen 8gb.
no, you see, it's now evening showing on 'my computer'!
now, it's popping out something like, 'found new hardware wizard'. and it's supposely helps me install software for: creative ZEN.
so i tried whatever it told me to do on that wizard thing, and it tries to help me find the software or whatever for my creative zen...but it can't find any.
so now, it's saying, 'cannot install this hardware', the hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software.
i'm going, WTF? cause the installion CD is in the computer right now, my zen is plugged in and yet, and YET, it can't find anything to help me.
and now there's a popup saying 'a problem that hard occured during hardware installtion. the hardware may not work properly.' well, yeah, i know that, cause it ain't working!

well ,this is the first time i ever bought a Zen. (so far, i don't like it.) anyways, i've tried to make it work for a couple of days now. not working. i have never tried to connect it to another computer before. and i never had the probelm where i connect my camera and it went dead.
darn, i guess i'll have to return it soon then. they gave me 14 days and it's been 4 days i think.
i'll try to remove all of the programs they told me to install on the CD...but then the problem is that it's not even showing on 'my computer'. =__=;;
it shows up (I think it does) on, when i go to Control Panel > System > Harware > Other devices > creative ZEN.
but then there's that probelm i told you up earlier up there. ^
it shows that damn wizard and i guess it tries to help me but it can't. -__-
if all hope is lost, i'm returning it.
(now, where did i put that damn receipt?? better not lose it....)

i already tried unplugging it and then replugging it into the computer so many times, i've lost count. now, it just pops out the 'found new hardrive wizard' now. =__=
i already know that that's gonna happen.
but for you, let me see....though i doubt there's gonna be a difference. -___-;;
i'll be back.
---edit---
yep, it's still doing the same thing, poppin gout the wizard.
