Pre-high School Volunteering

Pre-high School Volunteering to put on college apps??

I've done a bunch of volunteering during middle school(probably 200+).
I was wondering if I could put it on my college apps?
also, how many volunteer hours would you recommend?

wow! good for you!
I'm not sure if you can put it on college applications since you haven't started high school yet. I think the rule with my school board is that volunteer hours count starting grade nine.
But just keep it up throughout high school and you'll be more than fine.

I'm sure mentioning your pre-high school volunteer hours definitely wouldn't hurt

just make sure to emphasize that you've continued to do community/volunteer work throughout high school too. it'll definitely be a +1 for your dedication and ethics (:

OH! oops..well than, I agree with everything you said, mentioning it couldn't hurt. It does show your dedication over other students since you have been volunteering for so long. It shows that you did it for more reasons than for simply your college application.
