for me personally, i don't use shaving cream only because it makes the hair grow faster.
i use those dove body wash bars.
when shaving armpits, just basically shave in all directions.
just basically shave from bottom up and side to side.

hoped this helped.

lolx...it's natural there's no need to feel weird or anything...i personally use tweezer...it might hurt when you first try it but after a while you'll get use to it and it won't hurt....i don't like shaving cuz it grows alot faster and it's too troublesome.....how old are you?...i thinking about getting laser removal but it's so freaking expensive lolx

use shaving cream, rub it on your armpit in the shower, and use a razor and shave it off. go down first, then upward motion.

Uh, I'm too lazy/cheap to run off and get shaving cream any more so I just lather my armpit with soap/body wash and shave downwards/upwards. I hear hair conditioner is a good substitute for shaving cream?
And I prefer plucking, even though it takes a bit longer, I don't risk slicing off those annoying uneven bumps. >_<

you separate the hairs in half so some of them point up and the other point down, then you shave up then down. and i just use regular soap smile.gif

Use an epilator. Hurts at first but you'll get used to it. smile.gif

i use an epilator too. it totally hurts the first time, but you get used to it.

it's looks kind of scary at first, but it's pretty effective. plus, the hair grows back more slowly than if you shave it and the hair doesn't grow back as sharp and choppy as when you shave it. but sometimes, you can get ingrown hairs, which kind of hurt >.<

If you're too cheap for real shaving cream (like me, heh), you can use your own hair conditioner to shave your armpits, or even your legs, for that matter. It's just as effective. Moisturizes the skin and doesn't leave razor burn.

You could also scrub your underarms for a few seconds with a mesh sponge or a loofa first, to get out those ingrown hairs and make a cleaner shave.

if all else fails, try an epilator. it's a hand held device that consists of approx ~20 tweezers and plucks out your hair and keeps it smooth for 2-3 weeks. (: way more convenient than shaving and you get used to the tingles.

search it up on google if you're interested.

I just use what I got. No shaving cream. And I shave every 4-7 days. On me, it grows and sticks me. So I shave it off. biggrin.gif
