I guess she would be taken more seriously if she looked like Janet Reno.

Is McCain trying to get votes from Hilary followers? Since Hilary can't run, so vote for this WOMAN? Man, this election is turning into one gigantic circus! crazy.gif

"GILF". LOL!

I don't know what's more pathetic... Obama picking Biden or McCain picking Palin...

Actually Obama picking Biden is more pathetic.. McCain picking Palin is just downright desperate.

if so it's pretty stupid considering she's wants to end a woman's right to choose.

I think it's sad and pathetic. She has less experience than Obama does. Plus she's only been governor for twenty months and already is under investigation for corruption and claims she's a corruption fighter at the same time. LOL! Hilarious.

As a female who is not involved in either of the main political parties I think it's insulting if McCain thinks I'd vote for him because he chose some female who is a newbie in politics.

My thoughts exactly. I guess a decent-looking woman in high political office can't go a day without some chauvinistic male deeming her a MILF.

When I heard about this, my first thought was that McCain must be a really unpredictable dart thrower.

even with all the negative about her, as a governor she really is more qualified than say, obama. i do question the motives for choosing her, but whatever its all kind of a joke at this point.

Are you serious? Just because she's a governor? Being a governor doesn't automatically mean you have experience. Look at George Bush with Texas. There are a lot of crappy governors out there. It's not about experience all the time. And Obama has more of a record. Palin is governor of a state that has a population smaller than NYC or something.

Even in the case of rape and incest. That is what really surprises me. I've never known a rightwinger who is that extreme.

I also wanted to add at the DNC Convention Bill Clinton made the point that the republicans said the same things about him that they are about Obama and we all know how things turned out with President Clinton.

In terms of leadership and management, yes, she does. It doesn't matter how small state was, she provided a leadership and managed entire state of Alaska and that is lot more than Obama ever did.

Lol so you'd rather choose someone whos under investigation for corruption than a clean person?
If that's the kind of leadership and management she can provide then I dont know what else to say.

I think McCain's choice of Palin looked good until the news of her daughter broke. She just lost a whole bunch of swing voters and some Hillary supporter as potential voters because of her over-the-right-cliff view on abortion. Of course, she may have gained some votes, but I think there are a lot more anti-votes.

Wow, you came to that silly conclusion based on leadership comparison. Based on your drivel, I feel sorry for anyone who wants to have an adult like logical discussion. You obviously is missing the point. We are talking about who had more of leadership role and since you can't argue you resort to silly childish antics. Its people like you who destroys a decent conversation. Yeah, I don't know what to say about clueless people like you who likes to make an assumption out of nothing.

Hrm, I don't see you backing up your arguments with any concrete evidence... unsure.gif

thats why i dont even care about polotics it just becomes all about the mudslinging.
i at least respect the lady for sticking to her beliefs instead of just going along with what democrats want to hear. even tho i am on the other side of the abortion thing. i dont even like mcain, i just like obama less, sucks thats how the last 2 elections have been. i think clinton was the best president we had in at least 20 years. ignoring all the drama, which pretty much no one can do.
