Help: Sony Cybershot T2 question~

Hi, i've gotten my camera for about a month now, and I still have no idea how to turn off the sound.
I tried reading the book, and got the volume to lower down, but is there a way to just get rid of the noise?

What sound do you want to turn off? If you want to turn off the "beep" sound you go to

Home-->Settings[last tab with like a toolbox icon]-->Main Settings-->Beep Off

Is that what you guys were wondering about? The camera is kinda weird to handle at first but you should get used to the functions soon
