Just my opinion, I just know it's not a pun.
Its a metaphor comparing the first subject as being like or equal to the second subject.
ex:All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances; — (William Shakespeare, As You Like It, 2/7)
A pun is a phrase that deliberately exploits confusion between similar-sounding words for humorous or rhetorical effect.
ex. "When drinking, don't drive. Don't even putt."
