I don't know if there was a topic on this, I'm surprised I couldn't find one.

Anyway..

What's on your playlist for when you jog/run?
I'm getting sick of mine, since I listen to it almost everyday.
Any suggestions?

My list

ATB- Ecstasy
Baby VOX Rev.- Never Say Goodbye
Britney- Piece of Me
Coldplay- Clocks
Goodcharlotte (Ilovethem)- The Anthem, I Don't Want to be in Love, Predictable, We Believe
Kate Perry- Hot N' Cold
Leaona Lewis- Better in Time, Bleeding Love
MC 몽- 미치겠어, Cloud 9
Neyo- Together
One Two ft. 서인영- 못된여자
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus- Face Down
Saving Abel- Addicted
Secondhand Serenade- Fall For You
Vibekingz ft. Maliq- This Letter
Wondergirls- So Hot
Big Bang- 하루하루, 천국, Crazy Dog
Shinee- 누나너무예뻐 (their album that just came out is weird)

And I have a bunch of sappy/sad korean songs (sgwannabe, vibe, vos, mondaykiz) dry.gif which, makes me not want to run

I'm looking for upbeat songs, and please, no SNSD, Super Junior, DBSK.

i think a must have for any running list is eye of the tiger lol. that song was actually the last song to play on my list while i was running the nike human race 10k yesterday and gave me the extra boost to kill it the last half mile.

my list is a mixture of upbeat hip hop/techno/electronica/some alternative-rock music.

daft punk- around the world, one more time, technologic, harder faster stronger, etc
paul oakenfield ft. brittany murphy - faster kill pussycat
cascade-every time we touch
journey- don't stop believing
any of big bang's more upbeat songs
i actually run to britney spears (stronger, you drive me crazy, me against the music)
head automatica- beating hearts baby
justin timberlake - sexy back, lovestoned, what comes around

just to name a few. anything that gets me pumped is pretty much a must on my playlist.

yes, i would like to know too... isn't if you run a mile under 9 minutes, isn't it considered running, but if you run a mile over 9 minutes, it's jogging? ok, i'm not sure about this though. so why is jogging bad?

on my playlist:
no scrubs -- TLC
hollaback girl -- gwen stefani
disturbia -- rihanna
better in time -- leona lewis
what you know -- t.i.
superwoman -- alicia keys
fan -- epik high
so hot -- wondergirls
candy -- h.o.t.
and others...

if you can jog, you can run.

If you are saying jog, you mentally are thinking jog, your mind and body have a connection that can be nurtured and enhanced or lay in decay. But let us simplify and state that if you are communicating a concept to your body it will train and exert for that type of exercise. Less muscles will be recruited, your body will not try so hard ~ Less calories burned.

Why jog at all unless you want to be eyecandy very very slowly for people driving by. Speed walking is more effective then jogging.

1. Tiesto - Ride
2. Tiesto - Forbidden Paradise
3. Tiesto - He's a Pirate
4. Chasing Cars - Trance Remix
5. Gouryella - Ligaya
6. Tiesto - Adagio
7. Tiesto - Faithfulness
8. Uverworld - D-Techno ( and more )
9. Maaya Sakamoto - Hemisphere
10. Mars & Mystre - Pachelbel 8000

Yah yah! A lot of my exercising and training inside and outside involve connecting the mind/spirit to the body to maximize results! When I train people at the gym I try to connect their minds to their muscles so they can grasp it not only from a "lecture" or visual stance but personally through feel! biggrin.gif I have this tendency to ask do you feel it?

Right THERE!?!? Then I slap them in the ass really hard! Jk w00t.gif

Don't wanna sound like a nerd here, but isn't there a topic on your "workout playlists" and songs you play while working out?

It is valid I think ~ I prefer death metal when I lift, and very specific songs.

Oh as a music lover, I listen to everything. The only reason I listen to Death Metal is last year I ran into a roadblock and none of my music was capable of blasting through the mindcoma 40-45 minutes into my workouts. So I went for a outside opinion and asked a friend that had his own taste for music. I only listen to Death Metal while lifting weights. Other wise like in my car I can appreciate Coldplay. Hehe. Yah I couldn't listen to R&B Hip Hop @ the gym. Hiphop gets really old for me fast. JRock and K-Rock are great! I also like the progression in trance and rock as I tend to turn on the afterburners for a few laps. I do intervals without thinking of it in hard-paced running. I recall onetime I was jogging (I only use jogging to be lazy - bear in mind that did not count to any of the 4 miles run ) on a track and then all of a sudden I was running while listening to mexican techno ~ hehe I had tuned in to a station for a second and they weren't blasting mariachi so it was useable ~ 1 Mile turned into 4 miles quite quickly I was running faster in the last 2 miles then the first 2!

is there? well, I don't work out (as in lift weights).
I do a lot of yoga and jogging instead, which, now I guess I'll change to running.
thanks for the jog-run-speed walk info : )

I enjoy listening to trance/techno songs when I'm driving, but not when I'm running. The songs are so lengthy that it actually makes me really tired. My routine (when I run) is I walk one song, run the next, so if I stumble upon a trance song thats 12+ minutes........ blush.gif
