I tried looking this up on google but the search results ended up having big, scientific words that I dont understand
Like ulcers? does that mean mouthwash will burn a hole in my mouth or something?

The nurse at my dentist's office said "use less mouthwash in general"
But isnt mouthwash good for you? She said that dont use it for at least a month after you get teeth removed (which I just did)

So what should I do? Im afraid if I stop using mouthwash, I might get gingavitus or something

You don't "need" to use mouthwash. Although it is an easier and more effective way of removing bacteria and germs from the insides of your mouth, it's not required.

Mouthwash doesn't have any harmful effects as long as you don't drink or swallow large amounts of it. And don't use the mouthwash too many times a day. In your case, just stop using it. I'm assuming that she doesn't want you to use mouthwash because mouthwash might effect the insides of where your teeth were removed, you have to allow time for the hole/gums to repair itself.

I use mouthwash religiously. Twice a day and it's been fine for me.
Whatever works for you. My dentist said i have healthy teeth and
didn't say anything about my mouth so i'm assuming it's fine.

I don't think there are negative effects of mouthwash I don't use it all the time just every once in a while, but to my knowledge it's not harmful in any way.

Some people avoid alcohol-based mouthwashes. I believe they avoid it because it's a bit harsh?

But I don't think you'll have any negative side effects from using mouthwash unless you were to ingest it or use it too frequently.

i read in a book that harsh mouthwash can make you more prone to getting canker sores.

I use mouthwash once a day, I was told my dentist to do so. I've never heard of it having any negative effects - perhaps they meant if you swallow it, not just using it in general?

use the non alcohol ones or alcohol free ones.. thats what my dentist told me to use..
