Also, if you're coming down to NJ/PA area, stay out of my left lane. Cruising at 60 all the way in the left lane is not cool. If someone is highbeaming you, it means move the fxck overrrrrrrr.

I'll vroom vroom and take over your left lane
I think your friend is BS. No such thing unless your permit license says you cant drive on freeway, which I highly doubt.

she said, thats total bs..yadi yadi yada, your friend doesnt know what he/she is talking about
if say ur caught driving by urself on the highway, u'll get ticketed and your parents MIGHT get in trouble
other than that...it is perfectly legal for you to drive on the highway w/ an adult...w/ a permit
thats like everywehre though, u have a permit, you have to have an adult in the car right?

But my friend keeps telling me that im not allowed to drive in the highway or if i do and get caught i wont be able to drive for 10 YEARS! i was like wtf?? are u serious?? lol. i thought it was be like a ticket...but i know many 16 year olds who drives around and stuff >.< CONFUSED! i mean so many ppl break the law now a days LOL
Do you have your junior license yet? If not, you need to be supervised at all time when you're driving for the first 6 months if you live in the city (5 boroughs) or if you live in Long Island and you can only drive during a certain time of the day. Here's the link to what you need to know.
No matter what age you are, if you hold a learner permit, you may not drive:
* Unless accompanied by a supervising driver at least age 21 who has a license valid for operating the vehicle you are driving. For example, only a person with a motorcycle license may supervise a motorcycle learner.
* In a DMV road test area.
* On any street within a park in New York City, or any bridge or tunnel under the jurisdiction of the Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority.
* On the Cross County, Hutchinson River, Saw Mill River, or Taconic State parkways in Westchester County.
The above only applies if you have a permit. If you have a permit only and you're caught driving on those sections of the highway, you will most likely be arrested because nobody else can move the car.

Agreed.
I think you should open up that book you have to study for the permit..... really, read it, study it, memorize it.

Don't forget to tell your friend she's wrong.
Is this true?! That makes it harder for me to trace the theft to you.

Sorry for the late response. If you have a junior license, you may not drive alone anytime unless it's upstate but you need a valid reason for that. The adult must be in the passenger seat and have brakes set up for him/her.
