You know how if you use chapsticks/lip moisturizers for a while, your lips become dependant on it because it relies on the chapstick to provide moisture to the lips?

Well, I was wondering if the same concept happens when you use creams that are for anti-aging/wrinkling, when you don't have wrinkles?? Like, if you start using things that have anti-aging properties at a young age, will you then get wrinkles earlier in life??? I'm only seventeen, and I'm currently using a night cream, Nirvanesque by Nuxe, not for it's anti-aging properties, but because it's the only night cream I know that is non-comedogenic, contains no mineral oils or animal ingredients etccc, that moisturizes beautifully and ACTUALLY doesn't cause me to break out. I also need to use a night cream because I am currently on medication that causes dry itchy skin as a side effect.

Please and thanks on any help and thoughts!

if it works foor u, stick to it.

anti-ageing stuff don;t work for me YET. it is so heavy and it breaks me up. and I'm turning 24 this yr.

I will attempt this series in 2 yrs time when I turn 26. meanwhile, i'll be sticking to anti-oxident and whitening range sweatingbullets.gif

They are product meant for younger skin such as ZA future defense.

At this young age I think moisturize is important.

omg... i so thought you were like 16 from your dp blink.gif

sorry for being off topic. I don't actually thing 20 is early for anti-aging stuff. I use to think it was but obviously now I think otherwise. It's what your skin needs rather than your age. If your skin takes anti-aging products well, i dont see why you cant use it. wrinkles form because its lacking moisture. I was like you not caring to have a skincare routine and boy, do i regret it badly xD

I think 16 is a good age to actually start caring for your skin.

I only started this year lol (I'm gonna be 24 this year too smile.gif) and I heard a lot of recommendations for Neutrogena Anti-Wrinkles Spf 15 (I believe that's the exact name ph34r.gif but I might have missed a word or two lol). Started using it hmm like 4 days ago and it's pretty light and everything, maybe you can try it smile.gif

Btw, I have combination skin (kinda on the sensitive side), no acne. I never really thought about using anti-aging products until I read that we start to lose our collagen at age 22. So I figured, might as well start at 23/24 since it's better to prevent than cure biggrin.gif
