Hp Laptop usb port is a different size!

i just got a new hp latop but usb port seems to be a different size

i was wondering where i would buy a usb adapter.. and if there's such thing?
i checked oh circuit city but they dont seem to have one..
please help!

Unless if it is Firewire.

And.....there's two types of USB.

USB A, and USB B(psp and digital camera kind)

Make sure they are the right connectors. On the left side of my HP dv2700 I have a HDMI and mini-firewire

On the right side I have my 2 usb ports. ^If you look at the picture above it will have symbols like that and the new laptops.. will have very stiff USB ports. So make sure its in the right direction and push a little harder.

i plugged in some other stuff into it and it kinds loosened it up
and it fits now..
