hi everyone! so our forum called dreamin did a summer collab for 2008 summer! we worked hard on this! haha.
we voted on songs to sing and distributed parts.

the intros/outros were a bit awkward because we rushed them since we were waaayyy behind deadline and we're missing some girls from it.
also my username in that forum is Cutelilkitty125 so wherever you see that username that's me! haha.

oh and one last note. Forever Love is not the original version of the song. We had a contest a couple months back where we had members rewrite a song from Tohoshinki's "T" album. voted which lyrics we liked best and the winner had their song sung in this collab! the lyrics are posted in the song info!

yay, it finally works!

i sounded so stupid in the intro with the whole "wrong lyrics" thing, but i guess i made it fun. ^^
i.hate.my.mic. oh em gee. my first mic was so much better, but i couldn't find the same model anywhere, so i bought something similar and it HUMS. wtf. thank goodness, i mixed it a bit before i handed the clips in or else it would have covered up all the singing.

alright, so i am a HARSH critic, so my critiques are going to hurt. no flames though. they're all constructive. after all, none of us are professional singers. but for those who wish to practice their voices, they might help. ^^


Let's Go On A Trip: Chorus is really loud a bit messy because all the mic qualities. i think if we deamplified some singers, it would have been good. our harmony matched though. Eunhyuk rap was off, but that could have been due to mixing. it gets hectic. :] . i could have done a lot better with Jaejoong's part, but again, mic quality failed me. Eliza did an awesome job with Boa's part. So different from my voice... lol. i was really impressed with all the harmonies. they were pretty hard. overall, i really liked this song.


Purple Line: The whoos. Hahaha. They were awesome. Gave a sort of eerie feeling. Luved it. nice job with the harmonies you guys. Only nagging feeling is a lack of energy. There's this really powerful beat, but your voices aren't really connecting with it. It could be the fact that all of your voices sound so young and cute, and they don't fit the song well. I just wish there was some "umph!" in the verses. Changmin's "yeah" at the end gave me some energy, but it was off. Mary, Changmin is inhumane. you didn't have to sing that high. lol.


Beautiful Life: i really wish there was an instrumental, but it wouldn't have been a problem if your voices exactly matched with the boys'. sometimes a few of you guys would be a second off and it didn't layer well with the background. my ears had to keep adjusting to each voice not because of the mic quality, but the volume. one singer would be louder and the next would be softer. however, chorus was very well matched. everyone blended well there. ^^


Step by Step: overall pple were flat. a lot of notes were missed. pple were singing too high, too low. the song's so bubbly and happy, but it didn't sound that happy. i think it was because of lack of excitement in the voices. i have this problem too, which i am desperately trying to fix. i think the root of the problem was that people were more concentrated on singing instead of having fun. it's a hard thing to do when you have a deadline and you want to sound perfect, but in the end i think the feeling matters the most. again, harmonies were wonderful. i think we have a knack for those.


Beautiful You: aaah! i was flat. T___T. i didn't start the first verse or chorus properly. i guess it was because i was extremely rushed, but that's no excuse. hahaha, i love the contrast of our voices, Eliza. i sound so low and you're sound so high and cute. i really liked this song cause i think we got the atmosphere right. props to lynne who did junsu's part. you pulled the crazy "woooooman" thing off. lmao. it's mellow and smokey. the singers with the high voices sounded so pretty. *clap, clap, clap* we got most of the notes too!


Summer Dream: oh i luv the chorus! everyone sounds so cute and happy! who did changmin's part?! Kari! you sound so adorable. you're voice was so fit for this song! props to mary who pulled off jaejoong's crazy whoas. wow... you guys all sound so young. i liked this song. although it could have used more enthusiasm, it was still very good. most of the notes were hit and you guys stayed on beat. i just luv the chorus! ^^


Choosey Lover: my favorite song out of the bunch. you guys kept the bounce. harmony was perfect. i don't know who sang the higher parts, but let me tell you, YOU WERE GOOD. Abbey you started the song very well. ^^. luv the random high notes in the verses. you guys pulled it off very well. all the notes were hit well. i really liked this song. good jobs to everyone. sexy ladies UH! hahaha.


Doumini coopere: hahahaha, our intro! i luv it, i luv it, i luv it. i hope pple didn't mind my random comments in the opening like the whole "anorexic" (can't spell) thing. lol. the way the harp came at the right moment. it was just great. Alison, i can tell you practiced A LOT for jaejoong's part. lol. you sang clearly and hit the notes very well. i think all of us kept the mood of the song mellow and sweet. it was a very nice lullaby. if my mic didn't suck so much, this would have sounded so much better. how u guys sang all those syllables in the verses is beyond me. 0_0. i tried singing this song solo for my own amusement and could not sing the verses. the timing was just so hard. so i can just imagine how many times you girls recorded. lol.

I'd love to comment on all of them but I'm all half dead so I'll comment on one that really was enjoyable. ^^
First of all, I'm the type of person who skips to the raps, but you guys were good enough to get me to listen to most of it.
Ahaha the Choosey Lover one was epic, so cute xD the beginning.

Okay so my favorite was chorus of Choosey Lover, but out of all of them I'd have to say Doshi.tte was most impressive. You have it a nice story line, when I first heardd it I was all great the song is gonna pop in, but you had a nice smooth transition and it wasn't corny like I thought it would be. It was cute =)

The chorus was nice, I loved the end ahahah. Reminds me of DBSK Banjun xD Unforgettable Love & Changmin ahahaha

BY THE WAY, CORRECTIONS I was reading the DREAMin' page... I was Yunho in Choosey Lover, not Abbey ^^ Abbey did Yunho's first line in Beautiful Life for Rai

INTRO Haha, the first part is soooo funny!!! Oh wait, that's not the right lyrics! Hahahaha, REERA~~~ it got a bit awkward after, but oh weeeell

SUMMER DREAM I had fuuun mixing this song!!! You guys were awesooome. didn't have much problems... It's just the syncing of the chorus that's hard. I had to cut some parts from your clips just to make them all of the same length, haha~ But anyway, it turned out good!! I'm happy with this collab~ Alison and Bebe's raps were... WOOOAAAHHHEXPERT!!! I'm impressed guuuys!!! Kari's voice is quite different and it stood out, eh? Mary did well with Jae Joong's parts too!

BEAUTIFUL YOU First song I mixed! Eliza's and Kim's microphones were a bit fuzzy and soft, so I had a bit of a problem with that, but... anyway, I'm glad you all liked it anyway Reera's voice is *__*~~~ Lynne... your vibrato is to die fooor! I wish my vibrato was that... vibrato-ish. And Kiiiim... you went a bit off at some parts, but you still pulled through~~ Probably because you were trying to limit your voice? Anyway, all's good! Eliza~~ I wish your mic was cleareeerrrr!!! You were great though! Good job, guys!!!

STEP BY STEP Woah, awesome adlibs guyyyssss!!! You guys blend in well!!!! It really must be hard to hit the low nooootes, which may be the reason why it sounded a bit off at some parts...Overall, you guys pulled through and still ended up sounding awesoooome. I'm really impressed with the back up adlibs!!! NIIIIICE!!! Lynneeee~ Nice rendition of Junsu's partsss! And I love how you made the rap 'Dreamers break it down!' Woot! Bebeeee!! You sound awesome as Jae Joong~~ Dalis~ it must've been hard to raise the tone to another octave, but you sounded fineeeee Maryyyy~ I wish you were a bit louderrr!!! But duuude, you sound niiiice! Good joooob, guuuys!

CHOOSEY LOVER I personally love how this turned out 8DDD Kim, you pwn Jae Joong's paaart!!! Seriously, I wish you sang louder though~ Eliza!!! You're voice fits this song so weeeell!!! And dude, the 'UHHH's!!!! *___*!!! Daliiiiiissss, good job with Yoochun's part!!! Same procedure with Summer Dream too... I had to cut some parts and adjust just to sync them, and yes, it turned out awesome, riiiight?! Hahaha~ Oh btw, you might be wondering why Chang Min's part sounded different... well, I tried altering the tune just to make our collab different and not so patterned with the original song... (MY ADLIBS AT THE END SUCK THOUGH TT TT SORRYYY)... OH AND YES, I was the one doing the intro of Choosey Lover. AND did the harmonies for chorus and all. Haha.

BEAUTIFUL LIFE DARNSMDIDNTRELEASEANINSTRUMENTAL. I did my best to make it sound... decent. I vocal cut-ted it and then added the original mix to the vocal cut so that the background music will be heard x_x. YOU GUYS SOUNDED AWESOMEEEE. I really just hope that the bg music was that nice too TT TT I was supposed to fix the chorus alignments too after mixing, but I lost some clips (like Abbey's, and I didn't want to bother her anymore to re-recording the line she did for Rai) and so I wasn't able to fix it D: Oh weeeell. Once agaaain, I did the intro for this song. Hahahahahah~~~ Alison, I liked your Chang Min rendition! Perfeeect~ Kim... your miiiic TT TT You did well, but it would've sounded better if your mic was clearer TT TT It cracks when I try to make your clip louder... Same with Lynne's clip... So that's why they sound a bit softer than the rest~~ But Lynne, seriously. I. really. love. your. vibrato. !!!. Raaaai!!! I wish you had more paaaarts~~ You did weeell!!! Abbey even had to fill in, heheheh~ And yes Abbey, thanks for filling in! Good jooob~ <3

FOREVER LOVE WOOOW. Must be hard singing this song tooooo. We had to go an octave higher, huh? It sounded a bit weird at first especially when one has the original pitch and the other is an octave higher, but stiiiiill, we sound awessoooommmeee!!!! BTW, is this a vocal cut?? or the instrumental? The bg music's kinda fuzzy?? Oh weeeelllll. Kinda overpowers some of the vocals... Anywaaay, Alisoooon. High voice, giiiirl!!! WOOOOT! I love how you did the harmony!!! (That was you, right?? hahah~~) Mary. Goooosh. You sounded *__* Nice ooooneee!!!! Eliza, you did so well tooooo! Yunho really does have a low voice, but your version was... !!! Lynne, seriously. Do I need to tell you how much I love your vibrato?? Hahahah! GOOD JOB again, guys!!!

PURPLE LINE WOOOOW. Good job on this guys, seriously!! The bg music also kinda sounds a bit fuzzy again? Anywaaay. MY raaap. I glad you guys liked it, hahaha (Personally, I didn't like it much, hahah... It lacked a bit of life, seriouslyyyy.) I LOVED THE OOOOOHs!!! Mary, you are a hero! Hahahah! Chang Min's notes were high, but you managed to make it! Nice!!! Kariiiii~ Good job on Chun's parts! They were short, but heeey, they were nice short parts!!! LET'S GO ON A TRIP Hee hee, Kari sounded so cute in the beginning! Ah~ I remember I just recovered from cough when I recorded my parts here... XP Our mic qualities made this sound a bit weird, but hey, regardless of that, I must say this song was.... WOOAAAAH. The chorus went so well!!! Great harmonies!!! And Lynne and Kari's raps were sooo cool!!!! Weee~ Noo more individual comments here, WE ALL SOUNDED AWESOOOOOME, HAHAHAHAHA
