I used to have hyperthyroidism.
I was wondering if there are any like long term effects from hyper
that stays with you even after getting your thyroid conditions regulated/normalized.
Uh.. like my thyroids are now at a normal stage but are there
things that occurred during hyper gonna happen even now?
(eg: rapid papiltations)
Also, can hyper come back?

long term effects when normalized?... not that i know of.
are you on medication? if you are and you stop it, the thyroid could start acting up again making it harder to normalize it a second time.
if you stop your medication, it could come back, but it varies for different people.

Did you get surgery or a radioactive iodine treatment? (just curious)

Unless you're taking antithyroid drugs, and for some reason stop taking them, your hyperthyroidism shouldn't come back.
On the other hand, you have a chance of getting HYPOthyroidism. (opposite of hyperthyroidism)
If you had surgery, the incidence rate is about 1%. I'm not sure about the radioactive iodine treatment.

when i had it, i was prescribed a buncha meds.
i'm not sure of the names (it was when i was around 11?)
but since kids hate meds and the meds tasted gross, i kinda stopped taking them after a while.
but the doctor said that i had gotten over hyper and i was alright.
however, whenever i just do a little rigorous activity my heart starts to palpitate and my breathing gets really labored.
something that occurred a lot when i had hyper.
i don't have asthma, i'm not super lazy that i can't do anything.
but i feel like it might be a side effect or something.

over the summer i lost 10 pounds within two weeks.
whenever i tried to just climb steps to get on the subway, i'd be breathing really hard and my heart would start to beat way to fast.
after a while that went away.
but i was afraid it might've been hyper again.

cause of all this, i'm wondering if hyper can affect patients even after treatment and normaling hormone levels.
lol idk if i'm making any sense.
