having a healthy diet (salad @ dinner, no soda, only eat candy or sweets once in awhile, drink lotsa water, etc) and exercising is really important. there is no real 'secret' in losing weight; it's jus staying healthy. xD
and trust me, this really works.
ive had all those habits since i was really young, n im really healthy. xD

Persistence, time, dedication.
Watch your diet (unhealthy foods in small amounts), other foods in moderation, and exercise 30-40 minutes 4 times a week ish.
Stuff like diet pills have short term, quick effects, but terrible long term consequences (heart problems in the future). Avoid them.

- Divide up your meals into 4-5 meals a day; this way, you won't have cravings as much and your metabolism will be high throughout the day.
- Avoid fried foods. Try steaming your food instead.
- Replace beef and pork with fish and chicken.
- Do BOTH weight training and cardio. I know putting on muscle will add a few pounds, but they are both important in different ways if you want to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
- Pay attention to your BMI. It is a better indicator of healthiness than weight.
- Set realistic weight goals. Please never do crash diets and fad diets. It's a horrible thing to do to your body.
- As another replier said, please realize that there is no easy way to lose and/or maintain weight. There are no secrets, really. It simply comes down to exercising and eating healthy.

Before Anything. This was my before Status:
Height: 5'4'' (162 cm)
Weight: 135lbs (61 kg)
Clothing Size: M-L (Medium would be really tight)
Jean Size: 7/9
Waist Size: 29-30
This was my story:
I never thought that I was fat or chubby when I was younger. I thought that I just looked average. Until I had a fight with one of my best friends, she had called me "Fat" and my parents started telling me to stop eating so much. I didn't really cared the way that I look; I just love eating and just being myself. After that happened, I decided to go on a real diet. People would ask me what was my inspiration. Well my inspiration was this Ecko Red Jacket that I bought online, but when I got it I couldn't wear it and in order for me to wear it because I imagine myself actually fitting the jacket I was determined to go on a diet. I also went on a diet because I wanted to wear my sister clothes, my sister was always really skinny her entire life, so she also inspired me to be as skinny as her. When I went on my diet I was 5'4'' to be exact and I was 135lbs. I didn't really had a set goal on how much I will lose, but I was determined to lose enough to fit the jacket =).
This is my eating schedule:
Morning (Around 7AM: I wake up really early because I have school): I would eat egg and cheese on a bagel roll or sometimes I would eat yogurt and rice and some food from the day before, but for you, you should eat oatmeal, cereal, yogurt or fruit. Bagel with cream cheese is alright, but do not eat bacon, egg and cheese on a roll because bacon is really fatty. Afternoon (Around 12-3PM If I don't eat at school, I eat at home): I usually eat anything for Lunch, it's better if you eat really full, so that way at night you don't eat that much. Night (Around 6-7PM: You should always eat around that time because the later you eat the more you will gain): I always eat Chicken Salads; I don't eat anything else because dinnertime is when you usually gain the most. Don’t put too much dressing on the salad because the dressing is fatty.
Snacks: DO NOT EAT ANY JUNK FOOD! (Ex. chips, candy, soda, cookies, chocolate, ice cream, donuts.etc) If you're hungry in between some snacks you can take is yogurt, fruits or cereal. Do not eat anything oily or high calorie food. Remember not to drink soda because there is a lot of sugar in it, you can drink apple juice or orange juice, STAY AWAY FROM FAST-FOOD (Ex. McDonalds or Burger King). Try not to eat a lot of wheat or flour made food such as spaghetti and noodles, if you have to eat, wheat bread is healthy and it doesn’t make you fat. You can only eat rice in the morning, but try not to eat it during the afternoon or night time especially. Eat a lot of veggies.
Exercise: I didn't really do any exercise because I'm really lazy, but for some people they need to exercise to lose weight. All I did was walk for 1-2 hours each day. I would say the best way to waste that amount of time is to go shopping! I usually go shopping every week and I shop for like 5-6 hours. Now that's a lot. Some good exercises that you can do is swimming, biking, jump roping. When doing the exercises, you should do it for over 30 minutes each day or more. An advice from one of my friend is to do cardio, jogging outside, or using a treadmill for 30 minutes each day.
After Status:
Height: 5'4'' (162 cm) – Same height
Weight: 110lbs (49.8 kg)
Clothing Size: XS-S (Small fit very comfortably)
Jean Size: 1-3 (Depending on the brand)
Waist Size: 24/25
That was my diet a couple of years ago, now I gained a little. If you want to see pictures, feel free to pm me =).

Yeah ... i know its dumb n harmful x_X but i just want something to actually show it works
My friend did it, he kind of didnt eat for Monday ( little vege at dinner ), regular diet the next day , no luch on Wednesday, regular, regular ... etc - overall - skip about 2,3 days- ~ of meal in a week .... he really tried so hard >.< but after half a year he changes ^^ he was fat n round => skinny . I think he was about 75kgs = 165 pounds, now he is 60kgs = 132 pounds.
Lots of people with regular diet may get that result too but i really want to know if anyone actually trying this? n i dont recommend you to try it =.=''

Sure, it'll work. Any sort of starvation will probably result in weight loss. Though, of course, that is at the expense of your health. =/

healthy and.. good for ur heart, bad for ur knees though, so learn to stretch and run the right way, get a good shoe that is suitable for u feet.
that's my way to lose weight.. it's more on endurance. 200km, that makes arnd 25km/week. And u can't run everyday cause u need to recover. what i did was monday - 10km, tue rest, wed- 5km, thur rest. fri - 8km.. and sunday - depends on mood
food wise.. i don't control. I eat whatever i want. Er, yes, junkfood include (yes to mac, kfc, burger king, etc). but i hate soda so i skip that. maybe i'll lose more if i skip the junk food but i really love food.

but to me, going to the gym everyday and running laps is extremely boring and repetitive so
my tip would be to exercise but in ways that are fun
eg: DDR, different workout videos (tai bo!), joining sports teams, going to the gym WITH a frd etc...
change it up every few weeks so you won't get bored (:
also, keep a food diary/journal so you can record everything you eat is
a good way to keep track of your nutritional intake and helps disciplining yourself
eg: myfitnessbuddy
another good tip is to find a buddy to lose weight with,
the buddy will help keep you going and motivate each other,
that we all forget, And it's a wasted love, that we all regret...
