Ok so basically what had happened was.....
I was at walgreens and 2 of my friends stayed in the car.
I locked them inside.
I come back and they tell me that the person that parked across from me hit my car!
I look and like literally their car is basically all up against mine STILL like parked!
HOW DOES ONE NOT NOTICE THAT THEY HIT SOMEBODY'S CAR?
Luckily or so I thought, a parking lot security officer just so happened to be passing by.
She just told me to ignore it and go to Kragen and buy this ______ item to make the scratch not as noticable.
**edit: she said this because something like if I reported it to my insurance it wouldn't have helped a lot??

I forgot what she said so I was hoping you guys could help. sweatingbullets.gif

As for my car, there's no dents but like those grey/white scratches going vertically.
Help me, my baby is crying because it's so ugly in the front now sad.gif

P.S. I left a note on the car saying "Learn how to park bubble gum!"

Your friends should have said something and the security guard didn't want to help?

you should've stayed and waited for the owner of the car come back. Those rent-a-cop security guards try not to do anything.

you can go buy scratch-x and use that.

I really don't understand why your friends didn't confront the person.. it's really stupid imo haha I would've flipped if my friends did that.

good luck.

Yeah my friends are HELLA retarded.
We waited outside for hella long for the driver to come out of walgreens but she never did.
My friends never know how to react to ANYTHING.
I mean if they came out of the car, the alarm would've gone off and would've caused attention which would've helped a lot.
My friends are all big babies that don't know how to do anything without me.
UGHH.
How much is scratch-x? Is there a certain color or is there no color?

scratch-x is somewhere from 8 bucks and up.. and there's no color. just make sure to use a microfiber cloth to apply it so you don't scratch is and apply wax after.

just give your car a full detail. might as well wet sand and buff the area.
or just buff your whole car, then wax it.
it'll look nice and sexyy ^^

.....but then again not a lot of people know how to correctly use a buffer -.-

thats bull insurance wouldnt help.. if u know the person's plate # copy it down and file for hit and run and the insurance will pursue them and make them pay for the repairs for your scratch. u can argue that whatever part was scratched needs a whole repaint and you will be cut a fat check.

How deep are the scratches? Scratch-X works up to a certain point.

scratchx is just a buffer compound, if your scaratch is very deep it still wouldnt help, but if its just outside the clear coat then it will probably buff out.
