I put on Mac fluid liner...and it's REALLY hard to take off. >< So I was wondering whether it would damage my skin if I left it on during the night sometimes....

it clogs your pores so you'll break out with pimples if you leave make up on overnight. it's almost like suffocating your face. try to purchase a good makeup remover.. like ponds cream makeup remover or something like that. and all you have to do is wipe it with tissues.

edit: oh i realized it's eyeliner. i think it can irritate your skin if you leave it on, but i might be mistaken. better safe than sorry though :\

Yes, always wash everything off! Use Vaseline, it works wonders.

for me, it makes my eyelids, and where my eyelashes are, really REALLY itchy, so I have to take it off.

TAKE IT OFF. Get a good makeup remover, or if not, put lotion or petroleum jelly on it for about... 30 seconds? and then wipe it off and that should do the trick.

You're like, suffocating that area of skin, which is bad. And since it's near your eyes, you never know. And infection is possible, a breakout is possible, so be smart and take it off. :]

eye-makeup can leave stains that won't come off!! take it off! mac has eye make up remover.. (oh but i figured that clinique ones were cheaper! and its still good. but lancome's the beeestt)
foundations isn't that well either. i only use the rareminerals one sometimes (for night time). but its really light and its almost not there.

Yes.

I use baby oil to remove eye liner, but my mother swears by Vaseline.

It clogs your skin so it's better to remove it. Use vaseline

Yeah, it's bad for your skin! tears.gif
It clogs up your pore and makes it hard for your skin to breath.

yes, very very harmful. if that liner is hard to take off, try this method: put some baby oil onto a cottonpad, place it on top of your eyelid and hold on to it for 30 seconds, then gently rub it off and it should be able to come out. seriously my dear, you cant afford to be lazy! wink.gif

whether its just eyeliner or mineral makeup, you still have to take it off before sleeping.. for the eyeliner, you should take it off so as not to increase the risk of eye irritation or even eye infection..

lancome's BI-FACIL - Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover is really good ! i always use it and havent found any eye makeup it doesnt take off yet smile.gif

you can buy this at sephora too

i think its uncomfortable if you leave makeup on and then you forget and start rubbing your eyes like i do :x
also you dont want to get any makeup on the bedding

You definitely should remove ALL make-up before you hit the sheets. I'll agree with those who had recommended Vaseline. It gets the job done, and the best part...it's cheap and readily available in most places!
