I was wondering what contract plans you guys have - OR if there's any decent plans with unlimited texting that arent super expensive monthly? I'm kind of new to cellphones, i'm getting one next month so sorry if I sound kind of stupid. Thanks!

Their plans are not expensive and u can have unlimited texting.
I've never heard of Koodo @__@;;; I live in a smaller city so we only have Bell, Rogers, and Telus.. and apparently Bell and Telus are charging for incoming texts now so I've been trying to find a better plan for Rogers. XD;

koodo is another service provided by telus
bell/telus will only charge you for incoming text messages if you do not have a text messaging plan

with rogers its free to call anyone that has a rogers anywhere in canada thats always awesome oh and free to call fido's cell too cuz rogers owns fido. with unlimited web browsing and 2500 text msges etc unlimited evening weekends its about 50 bucks or so alittle more then that, but if u were goin on a telus plan with all that u can get from rogers you be paying $80 min , telus charge for incoming text btw if u didnt know that. I really hate the customer service with telus >< ive been with telus for more then 8 years Lol i didnt have issues with in the past because i buy a new phone like every 6 months =/ but i got the instinct and i didnt like it at all and they wouldnt exchange the phone for me and i had the phone for only 1 day =/ so becareful where you buy ur telus phones, make sure u know ur return and exchange policy.. butif u get free weekend and evening with telus its 6or 7 pm but with rogers its 9 >< but i know alot of people on rogers so its all free for me anyway.
Telus owns bell and koodo.. koodo is basicly a pay as u go phone of telus but a cheaper version. with telus phones u cant really sell it cuz they dont use a chip thing i have many phones iwth telus in my closet somewhere cant do nothing with it,cant unlock it unbrand it nothing =/
your call though..if u go with telus hope u get the htc touch diamond heard its good or go with the smart phones any other phones at telus i think its not worth getting unless u just using it to call and text not much to customize and if u do it cost money to do that like ringtones =(
before i forget yea telus has unlimited text but in fine print somewhere or at lease they dont tell u lol per month max its 500 or somethin unless u get the 10$ text.
web browsing its unlimited some phones its unlimited to only 100 sites that is on telus list... they dont tell u that either Lol yep with telus u just gotta be careful. i was shocked with i heard all this too about a week ago =/

Wow, that sounds like a really good plan ^^ If I wanted my plan the same as yours, would I just ask the people at Rogers if they have a plan with _____(what you listed above)?

But with Fido you get charged by the second and evening/week-ends starts at 7pm ^^
Ohh thanks for the info! The place i live in, we dont have fido @__@ SMALL small city, but we have Rogers. Bigger cities around us has Fido but my phone would be basically useless here. ;o;
Thanks anyway ^^ I'll make sure to remember this for after I graduate and move out.

I'm on a three year plan,
And I'm fine with it 'cause I like my phone,
But the signal really really sucks...

recommend getting a cell phone from there. their plans
are pretty good + affordable.. except it's not a sim card
so you cant switch you're phones unless you do it through them.
i'm currently with rogers and i think out of all the
cell phone providers i would say it's one of the better ones
(heard pretty good things about koodo too from
others + all their plans have unlimited plans i think?)
because it has good recieption and i have a pretty
cheap plan).
so yea, either one of the two are a good choice.

Oooh thanks for the info! I'll look into Koodo once I move to a bigger city, but for now its just Rogers for me. ^^ Bytheway, I was wondering what your plan from Rogers is? And how much it costs?
