I'm gonna be on the flight for 13.5 hours and not too fond of the meals on the airplane. Last year when I went to Europe I brought a chipotle chicken burrito to snack on and it was great.

Have you ever brought food/snacks on the airplane to chew on?? and what are they?? I need more inspirations! Thanks for the input in advance! =D

Last time I went on a flight all the way to Vietnam, my mom brought some instant ramen along just in case we didn't like the food. It turned out she didn't like most of the food so she kept bothering the flight attendants to put hot water in her ramen for her lol. So umm...I suggest something easy and portable like ramen?

Last time I went to Vietnam and I bought chips (like 3 bags) and 2 chocolate bars, they didn't turn out so well cause they melted T___T.
And I also bought food from the Airport but they're like hella expensive.

last time i went to Korea, I bought an egg sandwich, just in case. make or buy something portable and doesn't melt, like that chocolate bar that KathyT. mentioned. ^.^

Also mints.

Snacking food.

I don't like airplane food ._. and if I eat a lot on planes I'll probably be sick (TMI, sorry XD) so I eat some lollies and chips... a little at a time.

Do they even allow you to bring your own food on the plane anymore?

I once saw a caucasian family bringing lettuce, tomatos, ham, all cut up nicely and packed in ziplocks, together with a loaf of bread onto the plane. They started their 'picnic' once the plane took off. Pretty interesting tongue.gif

I never thought of bringing ramen biggrin.gif The long flight to Taiwan I sometimes sit on gives out instant ramen as a midnight snack. xD

I think airplane food is okay. If you sit on business/first class the smell and taste is pretty good, but economy/delux economy class food is nasty. I usually bring chips, nuts, gum, candy, and sometimes McD's. xD

When i'm making trips to Asia, we usually take Eva. The food they bring out in carts and ask everyone is HORRIBLE. But like, if you ask for some instant ramen, it's so DELICIOUS. :3.

I never knew chips and chocolate were allowed on a plane D:

I prefer not to eat before/during flights. I get motion sickness and need to be sedated during the flight. LOL. I try to eat something dry like toast or crackers before taking off to claim my stomach. I so envy those who can read, eat, and watch tv while flying. *sighs*
