Hmm, I was just wondering where people discover programs such as Elite, Exchange programs, Sports Clinics, etc. Or how people find out about community service opportunities outside of school. Because I never even knew people could take SAT Prep Classes, college courses, go to a different country as an exchange student, etc. until last year. So, where do you guys find these extra curricular programs/activities/events to do or participate in outside of school? o_o

hey, you know about ELITE? wowwww. impressive.

well, when i was in HS (which is not long ago), we had a pretty good school paper, and a lot of local SAT prep programs advertised in it. so yeah. and usually friends say things about this program or that program. and i guess it also kind of depends on what type of HS you go to: if you go to a HS that has really good resources for you to use, then you'd find out about the programs.

what's ELITE?

Idk, I just find out when I'm randomly typing in stuff on Google, through my College and Career Counselor, my friends and soompi. lol.

Umm,...my school has a career center.
They have alot of information about scholarships, interning, etc.

Looking in newspapers help too.
Korean newspapers have ads for prep schools and seminars as well.
I'm pretty sure all newspapers include these.

If not, at best--talk to your councelor!
