Hmm, this is a pretty weird question but how many of you say 'bless you'
or 'god bless you' to people who sneezed? I sometimes do say it, but most
of the time I just don't really feel like it. Hahas. Well what about youuuu ?
- But when I sneeze I usually expect people to say it to me though. LOL.

I don't really like adding 'God' to it because it's an extra syllable.
Usually I watch them sneeze their head off, because I'm too lazy.

I'd stare at them and be all "Ew."
No, I'm just kidding.
I'd say "Bless You" of course.

When it's my turn doing the sneezing, it's totally different.
I sneeze like, seven times in a row.
And my friends would say "Bless You" every time.
But recently, they've just been... waiting until I finish. Hahah.

I don't say anything. I never understood the whole 'bless you' thing, but perhaps it's loosely tied to some kind of old superstition thing? No idea. Even as common courtesy, I don't say it. Whenever I myself sneeze, cough or burp, I say 'excuse me' though.

I barely ever say that, because I'm not really religious. I don't even know why people say "God bless you" after you sneeze. I've notived that the words rhyme though. (ACHOOO!....Bless you.)

My teacher always says "god bless you" when its only a sneeze. =.=

I only say "bless you" to a person I know.
But then I also say nothing. This includes both people I know and don't know.
And yes, my friends will have the weirdest responds.

Friend: "ACHOOO"
Me: "Bless you"
Friend: "Yes, bless me. Bless me."
(he does this ALL the time)

I still don't get this whole "God bless you" and "bless you" stuff though.

I say salute, which is used in exactly the same way and means 'health' besides.

Saying 'bless you' (or 'salute') after someone sneezes is basically to keep them from sneezing again. Old and superstitious, but habit for a lot of people by now.

People say, " God bless you" because your heart's supposed to stop beating everything you sneeze.

My elementary French teacher told me he sneezed 9 times in a row. I guess his heart stopped for like 9 whole seconds or something!
