.. Tell me what job industry!

I think I'll be making around $30,000 a year as an editorial assistant. I really don't know how I'm going to live off that after taxes.

Well, if the nice old professor didn't lie to me when I asked, my graduate starting salary should be 50k-60k should I complete the Bachelor of Laws that I applied for. ^^

Well, fortunately, I'm going to be making what I was hoping for: $160K out of law school. But had I gotten a job right after college, I would have been making about what you are. Though I would have been in Minnesota, where you can almost survive on that (I don't know where you live, though).

lol typical interior designers' starting salary is 22,000-40,000 but I'm not aiming super high, it takes years of experience to get far~

i'll probably be workin part time on another job or going to grad school xP

100k+

Pharmacist.

Usually I would only end up typing that, but I realize there's a minimum requirement you need to type per entry.

I'm in grad school right now and stressing out like crazy.

I've heard that pharmacists are in pretty high demand. What kind of hours do they usually work?

If you're wondering what a certain career pays, here is a great salary research guide that can help in a decision making process. Though it has always been my philosophy that you should enjoy what you're doing compared to how much you'll be making. It will keep you happier in the long run, trust me.

^You would probably be making more, especially if you live in metropolitan areas.

^I never knew there was a Bachelor of Laws. That's interesting!

I admit that when I got my salary offer, I was a little sad because I knew I could get more if I got the same position in a bigger city but the bigger city would cost a lot more to live. In other words, salary alone isn't enough to determine if it's high or low. It's only comparable if you are looking at wages in the same area.

You should also consider company benefits when looking at salary offers such as vacation time, sick time, holidays, do they have a flexible schedule, and so forth. Some companies may have a lower than average salary offer but provide great benefits as well to make up for that. It it of course harder to see the monetary value in provided benefits but they should be taken into consideration.

I honestly don't know at this point because I still haven't decided what I want to do with my life... Either med school or pharm school I guess. Probably pharm school.
