That Annoying Kid In Class why is there always one?

Case in point, during my first go round with college I was always irritated by those people who would interrupt the lecture to make redundant comments or to give unsolicited opinions while the lecturer is trying to deliver the lesson. Now back in the day, I would eventually lose my cool and spaz on these people, because I paid too much money to learn for me to waste time listening to someone vomit up tripe that has no bearing on my education.
Well today in my Poli Sci class i found one such individual. The professor was putting up some final points on the board and explaining some key terms, when she just randomly raises her hand to tell him what she thinks on one of the terms. He didn't ask for any opinions, it wasn't discussion time, she wasn't trying to get clarity on a definition...she just wanted him to know that she agreed with the definition and took like five minutes just to do that. What on earth?! It's the DEFINITION...it doesn't need our concurrence to be acceptable!
Now I am too old to flip my lid over this stuff anymore, but seriously I still pay too much of my own money to have someone interrupt the conveyance of key information to me just so they can get the masturbatory self pleasure of hearing themself speak and having the professor know that they exist.
I'm not unreasonable, I can live with it if a person does it occasionally, but I have no tolerance for repeat offenders and she looks like a world class interrupter. So what do you guys do when you encounter people like this? Do you just suck it up and deal or do you eventually get fed up and say something?

Philosophy, definitely.
There's this girl in my class that, on the first day, kept going to the argument that we can't know nothing for sure and that there's no truth in anything. Like, is that a philosophical way of telling the entire class to just shut up or what?

The problem is that there is nothing to do. You either tell them to shut up in front of the class but then you will seem like the rude, or you just bare it -
In one of my class there's that guy (continuing studies) that keep on trying to laugh with the teacher. Like he would put his hang up and then would simply start saying something funny that happened to him related to the subject being taught. The first time it was kinda fun but after a little while you just get tired of it. Like Alasam said, we're not paying thousands of dollars to hear his life.
The worse is that I first that he was doing that because the teacher was really approachable...but then in the second level of the course he's still doing it. One day I talked to him and then he said he loved to be back to school and told me how he enjoyed arguing gently with professors on subjects etc. I kinda understood he didnt do it for pride sake or whatever (hes a nice guy) but I think that since hes taking those classes for the pleasure of it he doesnt understand that some need to learn in a set amount of that or their future's gonna be affected....
Sincerely would I be a teacher and some student would start telling me how and why she agrees with me I would tell her to keep those kind of commentaries for office hours. I mean c'mon. This one was funny though, I should try it to see if my friends get annoyed

I'm also in a poli sci class!! Thankfully haven't encountered any of the annoying kids
But there are some instances where the annoying kid is down right hilarious, although not laughing with him, but at him =P.

Not many people participate in lectures.

Honestly, not to brag, in my math class, I know EVERYTHING... I did it the previous year, but I don't go and shout out the answer every time. There's one kid in everyone of my classes that does that. -o- Participating=Good. Show Off=Bad.

I would be ok if she were slow. I understand we don't all assimilate information at the same pace. My issue is that she speaks without a purpose. Her comments are long winded and vapid. They don't edify the classroom discussion in anyway. It's an attention trip and it's retarded.

I mean its nice to participate and show you care for the class. I respect that.
But when it comes to the point where the person gives these "I'm-way-smarter-than-you" remarks, I feel like I want to slap that person.
And its really annoying when the person answers EVERY SINGLE FREAKING QUESTION and acts like that person's the only one who can answer that.
And I feel like not going to the discussion class but its mandatory so...ughhh have to hear the rambling. Glad its just only some days a week.
But what bothers me the most is I'm talking to my friend about something and that person ALMOST always have something to say.
It's like PLEASE. I'll look at you and ask you a question like I sometimes do when I want your insight.
Phew that felt better.
