I'm really interested in the DoMoCo and Sharp line of products. I like the SH905i/SH906i for its capabilities and style.

Does anyone have this phone who can review it? Or just know a lot about it?

I think the SH906i is the one with the touch screen capabilities. The youtube link is of the 906, but the list of features is for the 905. I'm mainly interested in the SH906i.

first...google. there are many forums with people talking about it. i say howardforums.com ...marktang over there can get you this phone. just PM him about it. btw...the sh905i is more stable and looks better than the sh906i. just food for thought.

second...i wouldn't recommend sending people to plemix. They've had way too many people have problems with the service for them to be considered reliable anymore.

third...yes it's expensive. It's from japan. the phone is already going to run about 450 over there...the rest is basic profit for the seller. it could be more and some people could be less. like i bought the p906i for only 500. came with charger and inex sim hack. i got a steal.

and lastly, if you don't live in japan...you're paying 600 bucks for a rock basically. all this phone can do for you is call, and sms. you might also find that you'll need to remove your sim+sim hack and place it into a normal gsm phone, make a call and send a text, then insert it back into this phone if you lose a signal. all depends on your network and settings. if you don't have the patience to deal with that...don't get it. it happens alot for some. just read up and do your research.

oh and i think there was someone here who bought it. He posted about it or whatever....should be only a few pages in. "my two new phones from japan" or something like that.

I've had both the sh905i and the 906i. If you have to have one of these two then go for the sh906i, looks better and MUCH MUCH better camera.
Camera was pretty good, face detection worked half the time. If you're expecting a "Iphone" type touch experience then dont get the sh906i. The touch was pretty bad imo, lags alot. The touch cruiser was nice at first but eventually just stared to bug me. I can't think of anything else atm but yeah if you want you could pm me or something.
PS I don't know if this is important but imo GET A P906i. looks nicer, outside screen. Also girls seem to like my p906i more compared to my friends sh906i

FINAL******* if you think its expensive than don't get it....what were you expecting? under 500? like the user above me has stated the phone itself is around 450 in japan...now to buy it in japan and to ship it to canada/usa it'll add up to 525-550 and I don't know about plemix but most places would throw in a simhack and that's another $30+......

GET A P906i, i've had an iphone (both kinds) htc tytn2, htc diamond, sh905i/906i, p905i, f905i, so905i, 903sh,and many many many more.and srsly.....i love my p906i more than any other phone i've had

now i have an omnia with my dcm.....omnia is pretty cool....but like most phones...nothing special.

there's something about snapping open that jp phone and that cute click sound it makes. GYAH!!!!!

For 600 bucks you can get a phone 100000times more capable of functions than that!
I mean, sure that phone looks hot, but rethink what your paying for. If your
just getting it for the looks then feel free to get it. However, with 600 bucks, If I were
you, I would get the HTC Touch Diamond. Or the SE G705 which is coming soon that looks like
a japanese phone [softbank]. Or "hands down" the best functioning phone in the market, N95.
That is, if you are okay with its nasty looks.
