Alright so yesterday I was talking to my aunt and then my cousin came in and said that he needed more deoderant. I looked at him like he was crazy! He's only eleven and he was already using that stuff?! But then my aunt told me that at his school they required everyone to wear it. The gym teachers would inspect their bags and they would get points taken off for not having it! I think that this is outrageous!
I believe that putting on deoderant is a personal choice!
My aunt also told me that she complained to the school that he was too young, she found out that EVERYONE working there must wear it too! She asked what if they didn't, then they would be in trouble.
To me that's seriously messed up....

ANYWAYS... do you guys no any weird school rules?

asldifha;sieg

We have to wear lanyards with our ID tag on them -.-'
Or we can't even enter the school.
It's bothersome. And I forgot it once and had to go home, hence received a tardy.
Oh joy~

Lol this was moved to here 0_o? Strange

Well anyways, I just started highschool and everythings fine.
But I heard that my old elementary/middle schools has new rules due to the new principal.

Walking on the right side of the hall
They believe that this will help the school become safer so that the kids will not bump into each other.
I think its pathetic. Once they get to highschool, it won't matter which side you walk on...

Hall Passes
I know that some schools have this but.. I'm not entirely sure why.

Hands off
I understand that all schools have a hands off rule but this year my old school just went overboard with this.
Now you are not allowed to, shake hands, pat on the back, high five, poke, ...etc. I heard from my little brother that if you are caught doing one of those things, you get at least 3 detentions 0_o.

So weird....

No RED. It's like absolute. No red on shoes, hair, clothes, or accessories. When i say hair, i mean like hair accessories and what not. If you're caught wearing red they'll send you home, or make you wear like ugly shirts over it or something.

Last year, if you were late 6 times, they made you go to court with your parents to appeal. I don't know if it really happened to anyone though. o_o;

In my old school (private. in the philippines)

-going down stairs you have to keep on the right side so its organize like traffic on the road
-no beads accesories. only silver/gold/ jewelry. apparently, beads looks tacky and cheap (?) sleep.gif
-no logo sock. only plain white socks
-if you came in late. you and other late people will have your own m0rning ceremony. which takes 15-20 minutes. you will get caught no matter what. security guards will see you and escort you to the ceremony ground.
-all parties(prom. x-mas party. dance. graduation. recognition day.) attendace is mandatory

wow .....there was an article in TIME magazine...i think it was the last issue? and it was talking about how it's not recommended to use deodorants 24/7 and how deodorants can actually be harmful in some cases. if i find the article, i would seriously rip it out of the magazine and shove it in the principal's face if i went to that school. i think that's a personal choice and also, some people don't stink even if they sweat :/....or even if they sweat 237502739857 buckets.

hahaahha my friend highlighted some of his hair red and he had to dye it back to black because of it.

can't wear all red/blue -> gang colors
after 3rd tardy you get saturday detention o_o

my middle school -- right side of the door = enter; left = exit.
they even had huge signs saying "enter" and "exit" quite funny, but no one followed it :x

that's what happened during my last year of middle school 2 yrs ago.
it was really stupid, and they strongly enforced it. =/
& last year, my friend who was still in middle school said that the new principal said that 'you can't have cameras on campus.'

Yeah, its like that at my school as well.
You're not allowed to wear plain full red or blue at all
since you might be mistaken for gang affiliation or whatnot. o.o'
But if you have hair accessories, i don't think my school minds.
It's just if you are wearing those mega big t-shirts (idunno why guys wear these and then bag their pants. ew.)
they'll have you change or get called upto the office.
o.x;; I guess its for the student's safety.

Umm..can't think of anymore.

Oh, we have golf-car laidies/men around the school who chase you like crazy
if you do something wrong. Once this guy was running then a second later, two people
on golf carts were charging and told us to move out of the way.
Not to mention, these people were alittle overweighted o.o;; walk alittle, ditch the golf carts!!!! exercise people!

Anyways, theres another rule that schools are "punnishing" teachers who
don't send/take attendence during the first 10 minutes of class.
