So over a few months I've been determining my feelings for this guy if its a friend thing or more..I thought I finally realize this strong feeling is REALLY caring him as a friend. But like three days ago he was telling me that he's gonna give on this girl that he loves. Then out of no where my heart just felt so weird..and I suddenly knew..or i think..I might be in love with this guy. I had this urge to tell him what I felt. So before this we played 21 questions and he asked me if I liked anyone and I said no. I brought it up and this is how our convo went.

Me:you know the first questions you asked?
Him:Yea
Me:Well I don't like anymore, but I think I might love someone...
Him: Oh wow
Him: Love huh?
Me: Yea

He begins to ask me who he is a blah blah. And then like i responded and he said..
Him: You're making this...akward..
Him: the guy you like. sounds like..me
Me: O_O
Me: Why would I tell you I like someone and it ends up being you!
Me: It's not you!

yea then he kept asking for his name and I was like I don't want to tell you. Then he got really mad and I was like "Are you seriously getting mad at me over this?" and he said "no.."

Anyways then these past 2 days he's been like really cold hearted. Everytime i talk to him its like im talking to the wall. All he does is say 'lol" I ask him whats wrong but he wont tell me. I dont know maybe he's upset over the girl he loves?

PLEASE SOOMPIERS TELL ME WHAT TO DO! So we can be cool again...

Okay so I thought of what everyone told me and tried to find a solution. So I decided to let him know how I feel like there's something wrong. So here's a little sketch of how the conversation went..

Me:have u been feeling okay lately?
Him: Yea and you?
Me: I guess..
(silent for a few minutes)
Me:You seem wierd lately
Him: I have?
Me: Yea, you seem so occupied and stuff all I get is like 1 word response from you.
Him: Fine you got me, i've been busy playing games.
Me: ... that just sounds like bs. There must be something wrong and you don't want to talk about it right?
Him: It's just life, it'll pass by
Me: Well I hope it passes by soon cuz I don't feel like talking to walls anymore.
Him: lol saying I'm a wall?
Me: I feel like I'm talking to one when I talk to you
(silence for like 5 minutes)
Me: I'm gonna go wash dishes
Him: u mad? I'm sorry
Me: I dont need empty sorries. Plus you have nothing to be sorry aboutso why you saying it.
Him: why are you mad at me?
Me:I'm not.. <--- which I wasn't I was just aggrivated..

So I went to do other things and he just stopped talking to me and then I was in a rush to go home from my grandparent's house and forgot to say bye and blah. Then when I got home he wasn't on anymore. Sigh..Do you think I made a wise choice? I think now he's either mad at me or thinks I am mad at him...So I really don't know what to do. Should I just let him be adn whenever he's ready to talk then he comes to me? Try to make amends? Or just let w/e happens, happens? GOSHH I NEED HELP! lol

if you LOVE him: tell him it's him. And if he rejects you, tell him, "i want us to be cool. I don't want it to be awkward around each other." and if you need time to get over it, then ask him for some time. If he says yes, well, good for you.

if you want to save the friendship, ask him straightout why he's being so weird around you.

IMO i dont really think its love =/ i think ur just attached.. since hes always there for u and all of a sudden he might leave cuz he found a gf, u noe ? i dont think u shud tell him u like him since he said it was kinda awkward wen u hinted some stuff..

I think he may suspect that the guy you "love" is in fact himself. He might be feeling a little awkward talking to you.

I agree with angeliquelle because honestly, everything goes by so much faster if you get straight to the point instead of beating around the bush. I mean, if you guys continue on like this, who knows how long he'll just keep replying with a "lol".

But if you don't feel like you could straight out just tell him, then do what you think is right. Everyone is different and you know your friend better than anyone else on soompi, so just believe in yourself and go for the jump.

I don't know if I LOVE him..lol. Well I kinda asked him if he's mad at me and whats wrong. But all he says is nothing. He doesnt say that he's not mad at me. But we talked yesterday but I still kinda felt like..he had something occupied in him..But I think we are gaining back to normal convos, hopefully. Thanks for helping me :]

Yea I kinda got the feeling I shouldnt tell him how i feel cuz of that. That's why I said it was another guy lol. I don't know maybe I am attached but its not because of a girl because he has gotten girlfriends before. I think maybe its cuz I knew he was heartbroken because the girl rejected him and it hurt me alot to see that? I did ask him why he's so weird and he just says he's been cranky : /.. i don't know. Wow thanks for your advice it really got me thinking. Maybe I should stop beating around the bush and tell him straight up even if he just gets totally mad at me. Time will heal that right? Gosh sometimes I wish he was a simplier person lol. Thanks alot! :]

He was probably acting cold to you, because he thought you were gonna tell him you like him, but you didn't. So he probably is discouraged. The being discouraged part has happened to me. You should tell him straight out how you feel. I had this girl that liked me recently. I liked her too. She got hurt by this guy not too long ago, and of course she rejected me. True..but I'm do scared to let him know. I don't want to ruin a friendship that could last longer. I don't know how it would be like to never talk to him just because I confessed you know? I played 21 questions before. That's how my ex found out I like him. Bwuahahha.
Maybe what you felt when he mentioned the girl he loves is jealousy. I mean it doesn't really mean that you might be in love with the person because I get jealous when my guy bestfriend finds someone else. I mean I'm not in love with him, just afraid that I'll be replaced.
Maybe that's how you're feeling. Or maybe you do like him, does he get jealous when you talk about other guys?
