LYn 5집‘ let go, let in, it’s a new day ’ 발매 !!

사랑.. 그 거짓말 같은 기억을 안고 돌아온 ‘린(LYn)’.2009년 1월.. 그녀의 새로운 이야기가 시작된다...

지난 2007년 3월 정규 4집 ‘The Pride Of The Morning’과 2008년 2월 프로젝트 앨범 ’그 남자 그 여자 이야기’를 발매 한 이후 오랜만에 정규 5집을 발표하는 ‘린(LYn)’은 이번 앨범에서 총 10곡 중 7곡의 작사와 1곡의 작곡에 참여하였다.

이번 정규 5집 앨범은 지금까지 보여주었던 ‘린’의 음악적 색깔을 유지하면서도 다양한 느낌의 발라드들과 새로운 느낌의 댄스 곡을 담아내 한층 세련되고 성숙해졌다.

특히 타이틀 곡 ‘사랑..다 거짓말’은 ‘이승환’의 ‘내 맘이 안그래’, ‘슈퍼주니어’의 ‘Marry U’, ‘소녀시대’의 ‘Kissing You’를 작업한 작곡가 이재명의 곡으로 ‘린’이 직접 작사에 참여해 그녀만의 섬세한 가사가 조화를 이루어 그녀의 감미롭고 호소력 짙은 목소리를 한층 더 돋보이게 하는 곡이다.

한번을 들어도 잊혀지지 않을 아름다운 멜로디의 반복적인 후렴구로 이별 후 여자의 아픈 마음을 슬프고 애절하게 표현해 낸 이번 곡은 ‘사랑했잖아’, ’보통여자’를 잇는 또 하나의 ‘린’의 대표 발라드가 될 것으로 기대된다.

또한, 이번 앨범에는 지난해 말에 발표하여 지금까지도 대중들에게 사랑을 받고 있는 디지털 싱글앨범 ‘매력쟁이’를 작곡한 황성제뿐 아니라 3집의 타이틀곡 ‘보통여자’를 작곡한 하정호, ‘린’의 대표적인 히트곡 ‘사랑했잖아’를 탄생시킨 김세진, 지난 앨범에서 ‘마음이 시키는 일’을 작곡한 이현정외에도김진환, 강우현, 우은증, 이규원등 국내 최고의 작곡가들이 대거 참여하여 기존앨범보다 더욱 편안하고 감성적인 곡들이 탄생되었다.

이외에도 재즈, 보사노바 풍의 새로운 장르를 시도함으로써 기존에는 들을 수 없었던 ‘린’의 색다른 보이스를 만나 볼 수 있으며, ‘MC몽’과 함께하여 많은 사랑을 받은 디지털 싱글 앨범 ‘매력쟁이’와 ‘이소라’의 곡을 리메이크한 ‘데이트’가 정규 앨범 트랙에 수록되어 발라드 뿐 아니라 다양한 장르의 곡들을 한 앨범에 담아내었다.

타이틀 곡 ‘사랑..다 거짓말’은 ‘사랑했잖아’,’보통여자’를 잇는 ‘린’ 특유의 감성 발라드로, ‘이승환’의 ‘내 맘이 안그래’, ‘슈퍼주니어’의 ’Marry U’, ‘소녀시대’의 ’Kissing You’를 작업한 이재명이 작곡을 맡고, ‘린’이 직접 작사에 참여하였다.

누구나 공감 할 수 있는 이별 후의 심정을 ‘린’만의 섬세한 가사말로 담아내었고, 리드미컬한 멜로디와 쉬운 후렴구로 풀어내 추운 겨울 그녀의 호소력 짙은 목소리로 가슴을 따뜻하게 채워줄 것이다

YAY! A new album. It says on Yesasia that it's 'ballad oriented' and that she wrote most of the songs. I love Lyn's voice especially with a ballad but I do hope there's atleast a few mid-tempo songs on it.

This is the description from Yesasia:

"After her project album He Said She Said with Shin Hye Sung in early 2008, Lyn finally returns with her fifth album. Let Go, Let In, It's A New Day shows her totally immersed in the making of the album as she wrote most of the album's 10 tracks and even participated as a composer for one of them. For the principal track "Love... Is All Lies" (Track 3), she invited Lee Jae Myeong who also composed Super Junior's Marry U and Girls' Generation's Kissing You. The melodious heartbreaking ballad underlined by Lyn's mellow and clear vocals promises to become another of her trademark songs. Other top entries on Lyn's latest ballad-oriented release are her collaboration song "Captivating Person" (Track 9) with MC Mong and her cover version of Lee So Ra's "Date" (Track 10)."

OMG I've listened to her full album and I was wow-ed by most of the songs. I love the ballads! And her voice suits the songs perfectly. I have a special liking on the second and fourth track

I'm so happy she's back with a fifth album! I want to order it~ I shall, when I save up enough money for it T_T The music video is interesting, and I love ballads from her but I hope her album has some upbeat tracks I also like her album concept, her clothes are beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
