Well anyways, I cried like a baby watching this movie and I thought this movie should be shared with everyone. Whether ur a pet lover or not.

Well this story is about a girl named Akira. One day she finds a abondoned lil puppy in her backyard. She adopts it and calls her socks (female dog). Socks because her paws look like shes wearing socks. The movie goes through the 10+ yrs that akira spent with socks with their up and downs and troubled times. When akira was first taking socks into the family, akira's mother said that u have to make 10 promises to socks.

The 10 Promises to Socks

1.Give me time to understand what you want of me

2.Place your trust in me, It's crucial to my well-being

3.Be aware that however you treat me, I'll never forget

4.Before you scold me for being lazy, ask youself if something might be bothering me

5.Talk to me sometimes. Even if I don't understand your words, I do understand your voice when it's speaking to me

6.Remember before you hit me, I have teeth that could hurt you, but I choose not to bite you

7.Take Care of me when I get old

8.You have you work, your entertainment and your friends. I only have you.

9.My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any seperation from you will be painful for me.

10.Go with me on difficult journeys. Everything is easier for me when you are there. Remember I love You.

it was playing in theatres when i was in asia but i heard that the movie wasn't that good and didnt do well in japan so i didnt watch it...
but maybe ill rent it or something

Oh! It was screened in Singapore a few months back and I watched it with my friends on her birthday!
The whole row of us cried so hard!

This movie is really worth it!
It's a has a good balance of laughs and sad moments so we weren't bored at any part of the movie at all.
Helps that Socks (the dog<3) is really cute and the young female lead character reminds me of Lee Yeon Hee.

It's very touching...n young Hoshi is cute...^^ The doggie is too...

I like the name "Socks"...it's unique to have a patch there n have it name "Socks"...it makes me have a desire to get a a dog again...

I decided to watch it coz...of the poster...LOL!!! I was like "Hey! I used to draw dogs leaning that way..." I'm a lil strange but for a good reason...XD

I tried playing with my frens "Look that way" game too...Haha!! I didn't noe BoA sang the theme too..oni knew that it was nice and the voice...familiar...until I went to search for it..
