i didn't read all of that, and so i won't try and validate your case.

i believe when we break up, we are free.
when we are free, we're free to be whoever we want.
it probably is just to get away from being reminded of the relationship.
Guys tend to act all love-dovey for the girl they like/fall for. o_O' so obviously girls are surprised when they see their guy pretending to hump another guy in front of his laughing mates.
_ it's sorta also a means to make the other jealous and hurt.
it may not be evil to do so, because they truly feel like the other hasn't felt the pain they did.
_ or. o_O' they're just being guys. we love talking about potential hook ups and all. it's like "the secret art" that the "top dogs" know . sharing their stories around. how hot a chick is, or w/e. o-O'

Yes, your feelings are valid.
& I have been there. I had an ex that I THOUGHT treated me so perfectly, but when he was away from me he was a completely different person. A jerk, a flirt, an bubble gum. Haha, but whatever. Life goes on

you made the right choice by leaving him.
it's normal to be missing him & everything.
but,
if you have the tiniest thought about wanting him back in your life, erase it.
he's with someone else-which clearly means he's a heartless cruddy person.
it's best to just move on & forget about him.
just wondering..why did your friend decided to tell you all this when you guys already broke up? he could've told you earlier if he cared. should he even be considered as your friend --;?

Thats what I've been thinking too. But he was my ex's friend before he was mine, so I guess he felt a sense of loyalty to him? And also because he probably knew that I'd say something to my boyfriend and his name would come up.
