^ okonomiyaki ... i don't like it much

HOWEVER, GOOD okonomiyaki is pretty darn good. even i, the picky eater, would eat it

and bad okonomiyaki just taste like mushy pancake drenched with water. blahh~

i love Okonomiyaki. first time I tried it, me and my friend were looking for an okonomiyaki store around Torrance.. found one, went in.. only employee was this old Japanese lady and menu was almost all in japanese.. my friend had rudimentary Japanese and we just ordered some random okonomiyaki. old lady gave us the batter and sauces and lit the panel for us.. we had no idea how to make it and were like "u think its ready? okay lets go eat it". the okonomiyaki was still under cooked and breaking apart.. the old lady came out and saw us and yelled "dame dame dame!" put back the okonomiyaki pieces we made and recooked them. made us feel bad.. later on this little girl came in, and this really hot girl came in.. both made a perfect circle okonomiyaki with no problem.

they actually put a lot of veggies in it. shreaded lettuce/cabbage, i think. i haven't had okonomiyaki in a long time. i think i usually have the seafood one if i do order it.
