Luna, cheer up. I'm sure things will be alright. Give the man time and at a time such as this, screw spelling. As long as you can pronounce it, the bartender will get it for ya.
Thanks.
His grandma is kicking him out cuz he can't get into the military.
Tomorrow I'm supposed to see him and I guess he's gonna tell me whether or not he's still gonna be wit me
I want to die

No matter how hard I try, I can't reset my sleeping schedule and it seems like I'm destined to screw up getting my finger prints later today, because I know I'll pass out again and miss the timeframe.
It's already starting out to be a bad day.

I want this post to focus on the locals so I'll have photos of them here. I've taken lots of other photos of the streets of Okinawa, my dorm, and the inn that I stayed in. Those albums can be seen here: http://s62.photobucket.com/albums/h91/haya...0AFB%20Okinawa/
One thing became apparent, all of the older people (40 and above) declined having their photo taken! If I recall correctly, a lot of the older generation had this superstition that cameras steal the soul.... or something to that effect. I'd say about 25% of the females under 25 declined having their photo taken. On the other hand, all of the dudes relished the idea of having their photo taken. I really need to work on the composition skills for people shots... these came out horrible!
Because it's only a Wednesday (from 11:30am to 4:00pm), there wasn't much people out and about. As I walked around the streets with my camera at the ready low position, this woman saw me, squealed, and then offered a pose. Not wanting her efforts to be wasted, I took the photo. I would then run into her later on, which would present me an opportunity to try out some local food and meet a cute girl.

Later on I wandered into an electronics shop and saw this really beautiful girl. I offered to take a photo of her and her male coworker. Unfortunately she was camera shy so I settled for this shot. Hey, maybe one of ladies would like to meet him.

I had a simple question about international calling rates between two companies. Unfortunately the language barrier complicated things. We spent about half an hour trying to communicate, but it was fun! The girl in the center was very pretty, I just wish I caught a better angle.

This lady working at the flower shop had a beautiful customer, however I couldn't make it over in time. So I settled for this.

I was walking by these guys, and the dude on the left had a shirt that caught my eye. You can't get away with that back home! They were actually very receptive to having their photo taken, and made pleasant conversation. I censored what it said on his shirt.... just know it was a bad, bad word.

I ran into the lady that offered me a pose earlier, and she told me of this van that sells some really good curry. The van was actually parked right next to us, and I never would've noticed it. I checked it out and ordered some herb curry, and then took this photo.

This dude really appreciated having his photo taken. He would then encourage me to take the photo of these young girls he was talking to. I was mad after I took a photo of him and then the girls.... I forgot to take off the filters I mounted on the lens. D'oh

These girls were excited with the camera, perhaps they thought I was a model scout.

I couldn't believe how energetic these girls were. They wanted to converse with me afterward, but uh... maybe if they were older.

As usual, the young dudes are highly photogenic.

When they saw me with my camera, they immediately got into photo mode. I could tell they were expecting me to ask if I could take their photo. Once I did, they didn't skip a beat in saying "Okay!"

I was actually a little intimidated in asking the dude on the left if I could take a photo of him. But he literally jumped at the chance. He and his friend even made a goofy pose. I'd say these guys were the most fun to shoot.

Oh, and the curry I mentioned earlier:

He needs time to straighten out his life and he doesnt want me involved with his family problems cuz they still forcing the military on him and things are just stressful.
I'm not as upset as I thought I would be. I think it'll be good if he focuses on himself....then maybe later in the year or next year we can start off where we left off (if fate allows us to).
But yeh..it's cool....I'm alright.
Drinks on me tonight!
