This is so fun, we've been getting dozens of phone calls all morning from people on our payroll asking why they haven't gotten their money from the direct deposit yet. People are sure grouchy when they don't get paid....on time. phew.gif
Bah, humbug!

Hmm ... wasn't sure where to post these, but figured since I've seen funny links posted here before that this would be the place to put them. Be amazed ... personally, I'd go for the fourth one ...

I guess this puts a new spin on things ...
The next time you go to a bar ... if there's a cute gal sitting next to you, make sure you know what you're dealing with before you attempt to try to make it to first base ... or even step up to the plate in the first place.
Seems like this thread has turned into one talking about the military ... what happened to the drinks?

What kind of markers? Copic?

I never tried art class because I always felt I was never good enough, that I could never get into art school or get hired on my art skill/talent.

And, get a tablet for your PC, it's like 400+ dollars, but it'll last a lot longer than markers will.

^^ i know. it's crazy how much i've spent and will be spending on art supplies because of this portfolio i am trying to build. i wish i worked at an art store, so then i could maybe get some discounts or something. :/ at least working at staples helps from time to time when i need certain supplies as well, though i can't get everything i need there.

ah well for the drinks, i'm sure you can get a beer for like 2-3 bucks. smile.gif haha.

No, not copics ... they're way out of my budget. i can't drop 150$ for a set of 24 markers. maybe if i was a serious art student i'd do it. i got the prismacolor set ... and now that i searched amazon, i realized i could've saved 20 dollars T_T

well, actually, i don't draw too much. i'm more of a painter and a crafts person more than anything. i've taken quite a few art classes but drawing was never my strong area. art class was expensive .. i remember spending hundrends for ONE class alone ... buying paint, paper, and some new brushes. wacko.gif

OOH prismacolor are supposedly really good as well. I burned through a few of my friends sets, much to their disapproval.

I really should get into an art class one of these days, something like model drawing. That'd be hot....until that elderly naked gentleman got up on stage for us to draw, *shudder*

Someone give me a vodka+mountain dew. I need to burn that image out of my head.

I hate to go back to military crap again, but I'm annoyed that I have yet to read anything about anyone remembering that June 6th wasn't about some crappy 6/6/06 Omen movie, but really June 6th is about D-Day and the invasion at the Normandy beaches. I watched Saving Private Ryan for the 16th time as my appreciation of the enormous sacrifice.

I need a real stiff drink that and inspiration to draw.
