I've had this happen to me a couple of times but it's not that I didn't post it - it was because once I click on submit, I end up getting the "Soompi is undergoing maintenance and will be down XX minutes" screen. And I end up losing my super long post!

if you wanna go asian crowd, hit up ktown. u might need a contact to get you in the clubs.
if you don't care, hollywood is the place to be. show up early though... the lines can get ridiculous
other than that, you should hook up with a few people before you come down.

I have a really lame extra class on Thurs/Fri afternoons and they are just...so, so, so boring. The kids have a minimal understanding of English, I have no co-teacher to help explain things, they don't want to be there, I don't want to be there...ugh. I can't do games with them because they don't like games. I can't do discussions because they don't even know the words "like", "what", and "want." I can't do movies and worksheets about the movies because the kids keep falling asleep (even WITH Korean subs). Ughhhh...I really just want to get wasted and show up to that class without a care in the world. Instead, I'm here at my desk, stressing about teaching them and wishing I was in Hongdae.

This way is so deeply inserted in their skulls from an inheritance that dates back to thousands and thousands of years, that nothing can serve so as to to dyke up this gigantic fleuve that comprises of many ruisselets. The tranquil pace at which the peaceful and sober river breathes, is more welcoming to the sight than the fearsome unsubduable growls of the dense and unforgiving Amazonia—mine is a rivulet than which I have never seen none more sober, excluding, perhaps, some of those of the subdued plots of land residing in man-made domains; and neither all the wealth, power, nor delicacies can change that—at least to me! To outside observers, I am the equivocal, and hence they may seem to be "rock-solid" upon my sight, as if either in momentary petrification, or benumbed by the dullness of it.
