oh, mine never have either. i don't know a single asian family who partakes in the whole traditional american christmas experience, right down to the eggnog. i just went to this historical holiday evening display and tried it for the first time. it was so awesome. not just the eggnog, but the caroling and the snow and the gingerbread and the trees and decorations... if i have kids i am going to force the holidays down their throats.
Sounds admirable. I love the holidays, even though you cant tell it from the place i reside in (hawaii). Instead of snow, we have rain. People still decorate their houses, and up to age 16 or so a tradition we had was to go around the neighborhood admiring the decorations. It is an amazing holiday, you can really sense the love of family and such.
It just goes to show, you dont need snow to have christmas.
Peace!
