Hi, I'm planning to buy a new phone without contract. I'm no expert in phone so I just want to know which one of these phones is better to buy and what the prices are like? I want a phone that suits with t-mobile sim or at least could somehow unlock to t-mobile network. I read some reviews from C-net review but i'm not sure if i could trust its reviews so I really want to hear from those who already used them. Thanks a lot!

^ Yeah, but she's going to buy the unlocked version of those phones. I think LG Voyager is Verizon only though.

isnt samsung instinct only for sprint?
anyway i think you should definitely get either the omnia or the xperia if you have the money. you can check the prices at plemix.com. andd i don't think the xperia is out yet.
your choices are so.. weird. lg shine.. lg prada.. and then omnia and xperia? what in the world..

I actually found the xperia for $250 w/o contract...dunno if it's true or not though. btw, why are my choices weird? lolz

I think she means your choices are weird, because their price range is so different. The price of the shine compared to the price of the omnia is very very different.
If you have the money I say go with the omnia. I've seen reviews for it and it seems great. You can read word documents and everything.

I have the Omnia. It's like a mini computer; beats carrying my laptop to school. Before buying it, I was sampling the Nokia N81 and LG Prada but I was seriously blown away by Omnia's features. Only downside is the steep price especially if you want to buy it unlocked.

Hm, not really sure how it'll affect the system. Best research that before you do it. From what I know though, I don't think there's any locked Omnias around. O__O Everyone wants the unlocked verison. :X Oh if you do get an already unlocked Omnia, I'm sure that if you get a contract with the phone, there would be $100-200 deduction off the price. (: Idk how it works with T-mobile but you could check.

some of those phones in the poll arent even out yet.
however, out of all those, my favourite would be the Omnia. you can find some on ebay i think, unlocked as well.
and then...if your a hardcore phone person....SONY ERICSSON X1 ftw lol. that'll take awhile to come out.

It is possible. I'm not with T-mobile (since I live in Canada and all) but Rogers knocked off about 175 off the price of the unlocked Omnia (without plan) when I signed up for a 2 year contract with them.

As some of you've said that phones such as Omnia and Xperia haven't come out yet. But how come I saw many ppl selling them online. Perhaps it's a scam? Anyway, a friend of mine have a used HTC Touch Diamond, P3700 for sale for $250. Is it a reasonable price 'cause I'm going to pay her the $ next week. It's such a nice phone
