Car Starts But Wont Go Into Any Of The Gears in need of desperate help

so today, my car stalled/died out in the middle of the street. i started up the car again with no problem, but i cant go into any of the gears. i shut the car down and tried starting it up on first gear, but its making some weird medal hitting sound. so i just gave it some gas and the car started moving(was just forcing it to move)... but when it comes to a dead stop(shifts to neutural), it wont go into any of the gear, and ill have to start up the car on first gear again and it'll make that weird sound again. this is the first time that this has happened.
i added soem brake fluid to the clutch, but it doest help at all....
anyone been in this situation before? do i need to replace the clutch??
-if i shut the car down, it shifts no problem.
edit- so i just checked the master/slave cylinder and i see a blogged of oil but its not drippring onto the floor. not sure if its leaking or not.

yup its the clutch dude. you gonna have to replace it
how many miles you got on your car?
* same thing happened to my friend and we were on the freeway at the time. he had to gas it pretty hard in order to move it but of course that forced it to move and it wasnt very smart to do lol. ( he had about 114k miles on it, when it died)
Most manual cars need to get their clutch replaced after 100,000 miles right? if its a stocked clutch that is?

replace the clutch yourself. its a honda, its not that hard to work on.
really just go to honda-tech.com
trust me youll learn soo much, and on top of that youll save a GRIP of money.
labor is the main thing that cost so much.

If it's not your master or slave cylinder or clutch release fork, it could be your throwout bearing (if it makes a sound when the clutch pedal is in). Or your pressure plate...but I doubt your clutch disc itself is the source of the problem (although it probably needs replacing anyway).
$500 including labor is not bad at all. $550 is just for my clutch kit alone...with most shops around here charging $500-600 for labor.
I DIY everything, but if the price is right, I'd rather have someone (that I know is qualified) to take care of it for me. Especially, since you have to drop the damn subframe in the s2000 to reach the top tranny bolts.

my car does make a weird sqeak when the clutch is in, but only sometimes
so today; i found out that there was no leaking at all in the slave cylinder and i also bled it out. i tested the car, and it didnt give me any problems at all. i also told a friend(mechanic) to come over to look at it and he cant seem to find the problem either.
this is driving me crazy....

Squeaking when the clutch pedal is depressed is mainly lack of lubrication in either the cotter pin where the master hooks up to the pedal, or the bearing on the slave cylinder (for my car anyway).
It's probably the pressure plate, or a release component, if it's not the m or s cylinders. Just get someone to pull the tranny for you.

500 dollars for clutch and labor is a great deal to me. My last clutch alone costs twice that
