my friend asked me about this & i truthfully don't know:
guys, would you rather be rejected by the girl you ask to your senior prom? or would you rather go even if the girl is just a distant friend.
people do go as just friends, right? but if a girl accepts, does the guy automatically assume it's more than friends?

thanks for the help(:

i'd rather have a go and get rejected.

rather than not have a go. and never know.

_ but . that's all bark. -sigh-

you misread.
i mean, would you rather be rejected or go with someone who considers you only as a friend.
i personally don't see anything wrong with going as friends. but do guys usually interpret going to homecoming as more than friends?

i'm not sure what you're asking, but no, guys do not always automatically assume that it's more than friends. depends on the guy i guess. i don't think it should be assumed though.

i would just go as friends. anyway, if you go as friends, it'll probably be more fun since no pressure!(= AND at least you have a date!

people usually go as friends
so if some guy asks me, I would assume its not b/c he`s interested.

it wasn't awkward at all. in fact, we only met 2-3 times ever before prom (we were hooked up by friends, i originally planned on asking two other girls but other guys got to them first -.-).

it helped that her best friend was my friends' date, but we had a fun time.

aw that's cool. but you guys had no feeling's for each other, right?
because he likes me but i'm indifferent. & i'm just scared that's gonna prevent us from having a good time. it doesn't help that he's super shy.

so im not going.....and its no surprise if he didnt ask anyway...*goes to her corner* *mumbles..* he never ask me to go anywhere......*uses her finger to draw on the floor* .-.
