my ears always ring at night.

does this mean there's permanent damage to my ears? i never really paid attention to the ringing because i'm used to it and they've been ringing for who knows how long. but my mom has been telling me that her ears ring every night and she's really worried.

the thing is, i don't use headphones. i mean i used to listen to my ipod in class when i was in high school, but i don't listen to my ipod anymore.

so now she has gotten me all worried about it and now that it's on my mind i keep thinking about it and the ringing is driving me insane.

Get it checked by doctors

I usually get ringing in my ears whens its really loud but sometimes it occurs =/ i got it check once by doctors but she think it was nothing..
but better safe then sorry!

it can be permanent due to load music,pmp,etc

sometimes that happen to me too..especially at nights when everything's quiet. all of a sudden you hear these ringing sounds. it gets really annoying. but after awhile it disappeared

My ears ring randomly throughout the day but it doesn't happen very often. When it does, I cover my ears for about 30 seconds and the ringing stops =)

That happens to me for about 10-20 seconds, I don't know what it is, but its annoying :3

oh, yeah. my math teacher has tinnitus. this messed up girl screamed in his ear and now he hears ringing in his ears 24/7. i get these ringings every so often. it's like someone is ringing a tuning fork in my ear, but if i rub my ear for like a couple seconds, it fades away. and it's only my left ear that gets like that.

but the weird thing is that when i'm lying down, my ear starts like pulsating. it's like my left ear is like thumping. kinda strange.
