this is so IU! just like her bubbly personality. i don't find it try-hard too, with the cutesy thing. it's so iu, a cute 16yo! and this song does show off her vocals! a lot of people wanted to hear her do ballad again but i doubt she'll get the attention like she'd get with this song. this'll be a fun song to perform on stage! well i look forward to hearing the other songs on the mini, maybe they will be more ballad. or people should try listening to her 1st minialbum/album, thatt had a lot of good songs.

I have to agree with you as well that she is absolutely adorable in this MV. i actually think the song is good, i enjoy listening to it, i especially like the part where she sings really softly, she sounds like as if she's singing a lullaby hehe.
but anyways, the MV is really lovely, and i'm looking forward to hear her other new songs as well. I'm sure there will be at least a ballad.

wait oh and in the MV she has long hair yeah? probably extension....so does it mean that she's gonna promote the song with long hair as well? i miss seeing her with long hair....

I have to say, I still like her ballad tracks more. They're just more appealing to me but her voice is really cute so she definitely fits the cute-pop. It kind of reminds me of Ivy. o___o;;

just dropped in to say, I just discovered IU and have been listening to her Growing Up album and watching a few vids of her cover songs. HOLY HECK!! This girl has such a smooth angelic voice and is soo cute and talented. Consider me a huge fan now lol. She is amazing and still so young. I can totally see her having a big international appeal. =D

I really really like her MV , much better than Boo MV imo.

I liked how they put a virtual marsh mellow in her MV, loll. IU looks soo pretty & adorable, and I seriously love her new concept.

I know a lot of people complain that they don't like her cutesy image and prefer her MIA days, but I personally think this concept is much more revealing and eye catching than MIA (although she can show off more vocals in mia). MIA was a bit too darkening for her age to debut, and besides, she did gain more popularity by going cutesy with 'Boo' and now 'Marshmallow'

I can't wait for the entire album to come out <3

Definitely. MIA is too creepy for me to watch or even listen to but I have to admit, it's a really amazing song. Besides Marshmallow, she has other great tracks on the mini album.

i'm not really thrilled about her new song "marshmallow" BUT the mv is too adorable with the marshmallow guy, lol.
and i have to say, IU is growing up beautifully. she's such a gorgeous kid, i swear. not to mention very talented.
even if her company makes her put out cutesy songs like these, i know we can always rely on her showcasing her true talents like whenever she's doing covers and stuff.
