so, me and my friend was on the topic of phones. she told me she found a t-mobile phone. its the sony ericsson z610i. she has a old at&t phone. she asked me if you could take the sim cards out and switch it. i told her to hold on because i didnt think she can do that. so im asking you guys first. can she?

is the phone locked to tmobile?

i assume she's on at&t. if the phone is branded as a tmobile phone and not unlocked....no she can't just switch the sim cards. Tell her to try it out. The only thing that will happen is the phone won't be able to read her sim.

its not locked either and she called me after trying it out. so im guessing it works.
