I wanted to know what are some great soothing songs that people enjoy to listen to.
The only one that comes to mind is Enya - Only Time

you should also check out vienna teng. she has a really soothing voice.

Anything by Zero 7, Kings of Convenience, or NuSpirit Helsinki. If you want something to "take you away" try listening to the Kings of Convenience albums all the way through. From beginning to end. I mean really listen to it. Like sitting down and all your focus is on the music. I promise you'll find your imagination wandering off into some off-the-beat serene village in Europe or something.

definitely this. I love it so much. Any songs by Late Night Alumni is great.

Also in you're into instrumentals and such E.S Posthumus have some calming songs.
