So I finally agreed to get a cell phone after years of nagging by my family and friends. @_@
I read the huge manual too and it doesn't really help, so I'm simply put a n00b to cell phones.

My friend said that for a Sony Ericsson phone you have to BUY the ring tone? I doubt they'd have like 2PM's songs.

Edit: OKAY so I found the solution to the ringtone problem. Apparantly for certain people, only certain solutions work, so this might help someone idk. Hahah. The w830 phone and I think most of the Ericsson phones under Rogers/Fido have a lock on it or something, BUT it accepts WAV files, but through My Computer>(Your phone/File Transfer) (If you do it through Media Manager it converts it to an Mp3). The only annoyance with that is it's massively huge, as in 20 seconds is a pretty big file, and for SOME people they can only get ringtone files under 600kb. Luckily mine was way over that and it still accepted it. I don't know why phones of the same model need different solutions but hey it works ^^; I only looked up Rogers/Fido solutions and there was a few other but this was the only one that worked for me (:

Also that's not the only issue, so I tried putting a lock. So I go to the lock options, Old code, I put 12345678, it works. THEN it's like "New Code" so I type in my new code, it says "repeat" I do it, and it doens't accept it and it's 8 digits and I tried like 10 times. =s

-system access fee of 6.95/month per line

What I don't get there is the first part, it says starts at 5 p.m but on the second part it says 7.

Then I read about using a program called My Phone Explorer and it worked right away!

I think I figure out that it's because the file isn't accepted, I've been looking everyone for converters, dunno what I'm looking for specifically though ugh.
